This sketchbook exceeded my expectations! The pages are smooth and hold up really well, even after a lot of erasing, no tearing or rough spots left behind. I love the 9x12 size because it gives plenty of room to draw without feeling too bulky. The top spiral binding is also a big plus, making it easy to flip pages and work comfortably from any angle. Overall, it’s a great quality sketchbook for both beginners and experienced artists. I would definitely recommend it for drawing and sketching!

Great sketchbook. Good value, looks great, and the size is true to advertising. The binding can get a little messed up and it’s tedious to deal with but it’s not the end of the world. The solid covers make it super functional since it allows you to draw on more surfaces. I’d say there is some bleed through? Not onto the next paper type, but definitely through paper. This is not really multimedia. I’d stick to pencil, charcoal, pens. Things like sharpies bleed.

Absolutely incredible! I’ve tried four different art pads for my Posca markers and this one knocked it out of the park! No bleeding. After multiple layers of paint, no pilling and zero shredding of the paper. It’s so thick and sturdy! The colors don’t bleed at all and there is zero leaking thru the page. I’m VERY impressed!!! There’s even an easy tear perforation at the top of the page. Highly recommend for paint, markers. charcoal, alcohol based inks, etc.

Love this sketch book! The pages are high quality, great for pencil sketch to marker drawings. Comes with a good plastic divider for use under the page you're using to prevent bleed through and pressure marks.

Beautiful presentation, anyone's daughter will love seeing this nicely done, large box that will continue to be great storage for her new coloring book and sketchbook. These two books also have the same beautiful construction that is even better than the box. The covers are thick like what you get with hardback books. The paper for sketching is as good a quality as I’ve ever used. All in all it's a beautiful present at the regular price but for the sales price it is outstanding!

Sketch book is nice. Coloring book has a lot of bunnies in the Christmas/winter scenes. There are also a few small leaves scenes. Quality is nice on both books

I purchased this FUXI product and a competitors (US ART) product so I could do a side by side comparison. The specifications advertised would suggest both products are the same. They are not! What is the same is that the Us Art product is made in (PRC) China, the Fuxi is noted as being Made in China. The Us Art advertised dimensions include the holes that the spiral binder occupies, so the usable size is less than stated. The Fuxi sheets longer to account for the spiral binder and are perforated to give a true to advertised dimensions. Only one side of The US Art has a cold press texture, and the paper tends to curl even before applying paint. Both sides of the Fuxi have a cold press texture, and the sheets tend to start flat, and return to flat once the paint dries. The US Art paper was less expensive, but also a lower quality than the FUXI. For my money the FUXI although more expensive is a better value, and a premium product.

I used this Fuxi 9x12 spiral-bound sketch book for several art projects and it was excellent. The top spiral binding was convenient and kept pages flat while drawing. The 100 sheets of 68lb acid-free paper held up well with pencil and light marker use without bleed-through. The paper texture was smooth and pleasant to work on. The size was great for detailed sketching and the book was sturdy enough to hold without a table. I was very satisfied with this sketchbook and would buy it again.

Ik vind het niet acceptabel dat een schetsboek waarvoor ik 50 euro heb betaald in zo’n slechte staat is geraakt. Ik wil geen product gebruiken dat mijn motivatie en plezier in het bewaren van mijn tekeningen wegneemt. Bovendien is het erg teleurstellend en demotiverend om zo’n schetsboek naar een klant te sturen. Ik vind niet dat ik dit verdien.
