Now this stuff is a discovery! Being an utter Foodie. I'm always on the look out for interesting sauces, ingredients, condiments, whatever, with which to make my little food-orientated world a better place, so imagine how chuffed I was when I found that this stuff actually lives up to the reviews posted by other people on here. This brown powder is very.....um....powdery....which means a sprinkle of this finely ground stuff goes a fair way. That's always good. On top of that it is quite truffle flavoured without being that strange stale dusty version of truffle that you sometimes encounter whilst still having a reasonable, but by no stretch insane, level of heat. The jar is 1.5 ins square and 4.5 ins high to the top of the lid so it's a sort of acceptable spice/herb jar size with a sprinkle device in the top under the lid. I've flung it on a few different things after having it for a month or two and it's improved everything I have tried it on so far. If you like truffle flavoured things I think you'll like this and if you don't, I think this may be the ideal place to start developing a taste for truffledom.

Tastes quite good, add to dishes for an interesting flavour boost. Good quality bottle and easy to use and sprinkle. Seems to have a long best before date. Value for money could be better as quite expensive.

Sabatino Tartufi makes the best accessible truffle products on the market and the Hot Truffle Zest is no exception. This one adds a genuine kick to the earthy truffle flavor without either element overpowering the other — which is harder to pull off than it sounds. The truffle presence is real and forward, not the faint whisper you get from cheaper truffle seasonings that are mostly salt with a drop of truffle oil. The heat builds progressively and lingers without being brutal — it's a warm, satisfying heat that complements rather than masks the truffle. Well balanced. I've used it on eggs, pasta, popcorn, roasted vegetables, pizza, and grilled proteins. It elevates all of them. The shaker format makes application easy and the granule size is consistent, so you get even distribution without clumping. A little goes a long way, which means a jar lasts a reasonable amount of time even with regular use. The aroma when you open it is excellent — you know immediately you're getting real truffle, not an imitation. If you're already a fan of the original Truffle Zest, the hot version is a worthy addition — same quality, same real truffle character, with an added dimension that makes it more versatile for people who like heat. Highly recommended.

This and the original flavor are to die for. Umami so good it can be addicting. I will sprinkle some in my palm and lick it off. Excellent stuff.

I use this on anything that calls for a rich & zesty flavor that enhances the garlic flavor too. Spaghetti, Pizza, salads, gravies, stews, soups, chowders, etc.! I absorbed love the flavor!!!

You definitely have to like the taste of truffles, but I found this seasoning to be highly addictive and goes great with a bunch of different things and it has a nice spicy kick

I love the original one so I thought I would give this one a try. Nope. Big regret. It leaves a gross after taste in my mouth that lingers for a while and it's so unpleasant.
