How to use it? And did it hard to latch the box?

Here's what you do: 1. Place the coil or spring in the bottom of the press (deepest box with a place for the spring and the green handles). 2. Open your tofu and drain the liquid. 3. Place the tofu the the middle part of the press (the box with the drainage holes). 4. Put the middle of the press on so that the coil or spring is securely in the both the bottom and middle holes. 5. Secure the lid. 6. Press for as long as you wish. And remember to drain the liquid at least once! The lid is VERY difficult to put on (unless you are super strong)! I'm not strong (let alone super strong), so here's what I did to get that lid on. I found that latching one side first then the other or pressing one side whle trying to latch the other were futile. So was talking to it. I ended up laying on it! Yup! Well, just my upper body ... That was enough weight to evenly press the top so that I could latch both sides. It's a great press. You just have to use some creativity to close the thing! 🙃

4000 is a bit high for this little thing

Good product, but the price is too high. Gets the job done. Easy to clean. Can fit only a thin block of tofu.

Life Changing!

This press is simply awesome! I've never been a fan of soft tofu and prefer it on the firmer and more dry side. This tofu press works really well, and in a few hours, I have some perfect tofu! I also like that it is transparent, as you can see all the liquid that pools at the bottom. This tofu press arrived quickly and in safe packaging, and was easy to assemble and clean! Thank you :-)
