I upgraded from an older 256GB NVMe drive to the 980 Pro 1TB in this listing. I had about 110GB to transfer over. The software is free to download. Took about 10 or so to transfer the contents over to the new drive. Took just a single click of a button. At the end of the transfer, your computer will shut down. Disconnect the old drive and leave the new drive connected (obviously!). Boot up, et voila! Download Samsung Magician to update the firmware, if required.

Apart from a screwdriver what else do I need

Hello. You will need to be sure that your motherboard is compatible with nvme having m.2 slot gen3. You may need 1screw from your motherboard box too. Thanks
