Update-- So after some research I see that they had two cycles of this with two different versions of the brush. I don't care for the brush that came with it but it doesn't mean it's counterfeit. I adore the colors and the more I play with it, the more I love it. With primer, the colors are vivid and go on smoothly (just not with the odd brush that comes with it). Updated to five stars from four. I'm not positive this is authentic. I'll update after I do more than try on just three of the six eyeshadows (without any other makeup). I didn't think the eyeshadows were BAD necessarily (definitely not spectacular) but it was actually the box that made me question it. I have bought MAC from Ulta before and the packaging feels high quality. This was really cheap feeling cardboard.BUT the browns are cool and not warm like a lot of other browns so that's what I was looking for.

Great eyeshadows and brush. Primer is in defective condition.

The colors are very pretty, although the are much more sheer than I expected. The primer is hands-down my favorite, so it was nice to receive a travel size with this purchase.

I like the quality of NARS and their upbeat products.
