What water temperature should I use?

Use warm water at 95°F–102°F, close to body temperature. Water that is too cold or too hot may cause discomfort. A thermometer is recommended and is not included.

What can I do for stubborn earwax?

Olive oil may be used first to help soften stubborn wax. Then follow the instructions and irrigate with warm water or 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide mixed with 4 parts warm water. Solutions are not included.

Can children use this ear irrigation kit?

Children should use the kit only with close adult supervision and caregiver assistance. Follow all included instructions and stop immediately if pain or significant dizziness occurs.

Who should not use ear irrigation?

Do not use with ear pain, drainage, infection, ear tubes, a suspected perforated eardrum or recent ear surgery. Consult a healthcare professional if you are unsure whether irrigation is appropriate.
