Ordered these for a a space loving child's 6th birthday. They were the hit of the day. I placed them on a 9 inch round cake as the planets for the solar system and they look so very cool. After it was all said and done the kiddo took them and has them out all the time as his favorite space marbles.They appear to the be good quality glass marbles. They are different sizes in relation to the planet they are supposed to represent, So if you are ordering them for a marble track or other marble game this might not be the marble set for you. Otherwise they are completely awesome and a fun addition for a budding astronaut.A definite hit at our house!

I'm a astronomy "junkie". I love collecting anything related to astronomy. I have glass dining plates that are the shapes, color and design of every major object in our solar system, also a set of small glasses that vary in sizes that relate to the size of each planet. Ant this marble set was so cool to me, a perfect add on to my collection.And for all you PRO-Pluto people out there, I was happy to see that Pluto was still in the set of marbles also as our 9th planet. This set must have been made before the science community demoted Pluto a dwarf planet and deemed our solar system to contain only 8 planets instead of 9.If your anyone like I am and like to collect random stuff on astronomy, I recommend you getting this little set at add to your collection. It's not a chunk out of the wallet, very reasonably priced for what you get. It's a must buy in my case!!! GREAT PRODUCT!!!

These are beautiful, and a must-have for any space enthusiast, young or old! The sun is a nice, very large size and the planets are all arranged securely, in proper planetary order within the packaging they come in. Highly recommend.

Good set for being a glass marble, set is not to scale, Venus, Earth & Mars are the same size, NOT! Uranus & Neptune are the same size, NOT! with Saturn almost as big. It is more expensive than the Safariology The Solar System for $10.99 which is nicer, bigger & hand painted but w/o Pluto (a painted pea can be added or a bead the size of +/- Mercury). On this set Saturn has no rings (the cheaper one does), not even painted. A key ring that fits will act nicely, best if gold in color. As per Pluto, it was discredited as a Planet because it was considered to be a Dwarf Icey "Star" full of gas & not a Dwarf Planet. A Dwarf Star keeps on shrinking and getting denser until it Nova. A Dwarf "Planet" may not, I believe this one to be the truth and a planet is a planet whether it shrinks to dwarf size or its a frozen gas planet is still a PLANET!

This is a fantastic space manipulative for children and the big kid in all of us. The first set I purchased as part of a Valentine gift along with a telescope, a slew of books and two sets of wooden blocks of the celestial stars and the planets. The granddaughters absolutely loved these marbles. We even found a purple glass marble for Pluto in our marble collection.This set has been purchased twice, one for use at my Sweet Peas house and one at my house. I’m always amused to see the adults pick up the marbles, examine and place them in order on the black wooden tray. This is an intriguing and interactive piece to share with family and friends.

We bought these as an anniversary "prize" for our team members at work. When you hit 90 days, you get your sun, then at each year anniversary you get your next planet. This encourages team members to be excited and engaged in celebrations. The marbles are good quality with a nice weight to them. The background/holder is a low quality cardboard, so don't count on it to actually hold anything. We put it in a picture frame on black background and then glued the planets to the frame glass for display. Would give 5 stars if the background was as nice as the marbles themselves.

Beautiful set of marbles. Colors are fantastic and I love how they are different sizes. Should look fantastic on my son’s birthday cake for his 6th birthday.
