I’ve started using this berberine supplement, and one thing I noticed fairly quickly is that it seems to help curb my appetite, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I haven’t taken it consistently or long enough to comment on any other benefits, but my initial experience has been positive. If you’re looking for something to help manage cravings, this may be worth trying.

Most supplements I have to hope they are doing something. Not this. I can see and feel it. On my CGM my blood sugar never goes over 140. I spend most of my time in the 70-99 range. I have herniated discs and sciatica pain. Berberine lowers the inflammation and makes it non existent. It works better than any NSAID, pain killer, and every other supplement. It also works with my blood pressure medication. My blood pressure is usually in the 130s/80s on medication. Taking this with the meds it is down to 110/65. My LDL cholesterol went from 120 to 80. My HDL went up 17 points and my triglycerides went from the 130s to 77. My BUN (kidney) dropped and my eGFR went up. Berberine is magical for me. This form works better than DHB and the phytosome version.

I love this product, helps to keep my blood sugar within range after eating, I refused to take Metformin and found something to replace it, have ordered several times and the last order, I decided to subscribe so it ships automatically. I generally use Solaray brand because they are very pure and work well. While this is my first purchase of Berberine, I am confident it will work out well for me. FYI, herbs have always worked for me where medications give me horrible side effects. Supplements might take longer but once they build up, the effects are what I want. That being said, I purchased Berberine to help lower my cholesterol levels and help stabilize my blood sugar levels. (My sugar runs low.) I'm 51/F and for the first time my cholesterol was high. Doc wanted me to start a statin. I asked for 6 months to try this. Anyway, I'll update you in 6 months.
