Use between runs of multiple hoses
I often run 3 or 4 hoses to get to where I'm going and find it much nicer to have a valve I can turn on or off without walking all the way back to the source.

Works as advertised!
I had to loosen the screw to get the valve to open and close but that was easy. It turns off the water where I needed it to. I would recommend others to purchase these.

Appears to be real BRASS
Solid and heavy duty. Tired of the cheap lightweight aluminum ones that break after just a couple of months use. These look like they will hold up better as they are made out of a much sturdier metal, and it does appear to be brass.

My old 'valves' were aluminum, and had corroded to the point where they did not seal. I use them at the end of the water hose. Rather than turn off the water at the faucet, I can pick up the sprinkler, turn it off and move it. They are also great to use while washing windows, the car, or other outside objects, rather than walking around to the faucet end of the hose. A great time saver. They are a bit harder to turn off when new, but work well -- the 4 pack provides enough for multiple hoses/locations.

Small and sturdy.
Useful to stop pressure when changing from a nozzle, sprinkler or power washer, etc. No plastic and seem like they’ll hold up well. A little stiff when new but mine broke-in after a few uses. No leaks hand tight. I don’t know if the ball valve reduces pressure or flow rate but I haven’t noticed any such effect. Not significant enough for me to do a volume / time test to check. 🙂. For the price they should meet most needs. If one has weak hands then a larger lever might help but I like the smaller size of these.

Work great on my rain barrels
No issues with leaking. They are a little stiff when you get them, but open and close them a few times and they loosen up. Perfect for my needs.

Makes hose management easier.
Don't need to run to the faucet to turn off sprinkler. Also allows "remote control" of multiple hoses from single feed. Often need pliers to operate shut-off valve until the unit is broken in. Otherwise would get 5 stars.

Hode shutoff inline
I like the,ability when pulling hose across lawn or changing out head I don't have to turn off water and drain line before changing attachment.
