One of the best purchases I made which now has lasted a year. I got this as my acupuncturist told me to get this as my stomach issues were getting affected from my back muscle tightening. I used this for 1 hour at a time even tho one session is 15 mins. And truly abused the amount I used it everyday. Honestly this thing is built well, reminds me of the 90s and 80s when things were built to last. Thats why im writing this review hoping it will help the seller and the buyer who isn't sure. I got insurance with amazon with it thinking i would need it, very impressed. I just put it in my office chair and lean back. And sometimes change height of it along my chair so it gets higher up my back. And sometimes lower back. Circulation will always help even if it doesnt feel like a luxury spa.

I already own one of the more common TOKZUVG Shiatsu Massage Pillows. I use it to really target knotted/trapped nerves in my back, shoulders and neck. It does such a good job, that when I saw this larger Comfier Shiatsu Back Massager on sale, I just ordered it, because I was already aware of the Comfier brand and the good reputation they have. And dear lord, I am so glad I did. I was expecting it to work the same as the pillow massager, but it moves the massage points in a completely different way. The massage points are also at different heights, to avoid too much pressure on the mid-spine. The shoulder points do a great job between the shoulder blades, but it is the lower back massage that is worth every penny, it is fantastic. The other great feature of the Comfier massager is the power plug. The transformer plug supplied with my pillow massager is really cheap. But the one supplied with the Comfier massager is a much higher quality switch-mode power supply, which I expect to work for many years. The unit itself is well made, with good materials and stitching. I prefer a stronger massage, so the flap that can cover the massage heads for a gentler massage can be unzipped and stored away in a drawer. The controls are easy to use while the massager is under your back, and the heat feature is a lovely soothing temperature. The massage heads glow blue with the heat off and red when the heat is turned on. There is also a nice little feature, where once the machine is turned off, the massage heads keep moving into a rest position, before the massager fully turns off. So you always start the next session with the heads in their correct start location. If anyone wants to extend the power cable, it is really easy, because these 12V massagers all use the common plug and socket system used for domestic CCTV cameras. So all you have to do, is search Amazon for 2.1 x 5.5mm DC 12V Male to Female Power Supply Extension Cable for CCTV Cameras. You will find every length of extension cable you could possibly want.

This massager is a great piece of technology. Those 12 massaging nodes work very well around the lower back at the pressure points relieving pain and stress. It’s the ideal massager to have it home for a self massage without burdening anyone. I recommended this for a friend and very next day he too ordered it. He too said this massager has given him relief from the lower back pain after along days work. All the functions work very well. It’s a good product to recommend

Only works intermittently after just under a year .Trying to get some help is very hard .

At first, I was hesitant on buying this back massager thinking it would not feel like a massage or be comfortable. But I took the risk anyways and now I don’t regret it. It’s does the trick. Set it on your sofa like me, switch it on and sit back and relax. Word of warning, first time use, it might hurt a bit. Use the flap of cloth on the massager to cover the massage nodes and wear a shirt. But once you’re used to the massager, it is so relaxing, just like the real thing of having a person massaging you. I literally fell asleep during the massage.

The positive comments first, this machine offers various options for those who suffer lower to mid back pain. The movement of the pressure balls is good with the option to have heat, no heat or cold facility. Personally, the bulky size of the machine, its weight and the function buttons on the side made it very difficult to use whilst seated. I have severe neck and shoulder pain and sadly this machine due to the bulk didn't offer relief. Therefore this is more a personal issue not a manufacturing design fault.

This was mum’s Christmas gift and she’s thrilled with it. Well done Comfier!

Great device. Gives a deep massage with two speed levels and two modes of motion. Effective and good build quality.
