Overall this is a sturdy piece of kit seems well made and so far has simply worked and helped me injstall some sturdy anchors for some strong shelving. Happy with this product

Plastic rawlplugs failed. These metal rivets seem to be holding, but time will tell - the 5mm chipboard substrate may yet fail. You don’t get a lot of protruding screw thread to attach whatever it is you want to attach - I needed to countersink the screw holes in the block of coat hooks I was fixing to pass the screws though and get them to bite on the threaded ends. A bit of pre-bending of the struts helped as I didn’t have that much void space to play with either.

I’ve used these in the past very happy with the build quality. However, I would advise new users to watch an online video of how these are deployed and make sure you have the correct sized drillbits. Otherwise this product is excellent and I wouldn’t let that put anybody off, but just bear in mind. These are not as simple as rule plugs and do need a bit more know how to use them correctly. Also bear in mind once the hole has been drilled for one of these anchors bolts it can’t be Used again for anything smaller or more traditional like a rule plug but they are very sturdy. Very handy tool ,, it’s one of those tools you don’t think you need until you do ,,, good price and worked perfectly

A handy little tool and cheap as chips. When finished just put it in the tool box with the rest of the gadgets
