Karlsten Furniture Mould Remover Spray Pro 500ml - Ultra Effective Mould & Black Mould Remover | Removes Mould & Spores On Contact

Used this to remove very well-established mould from the fabric hood of my car. The mould had been building for several years, so it was deeply engrained and covered the whole roof in thick green growth. I had resigned myself to buying a new roof, then thought I'd give this a try. I'm glad I did. Sprayed on, left for 30 minutes or so to soak in and kill off the mould, then scraped off the softened mould with a short-bladed kitchen knife, washing off the scraped-up mould with a hose every few minutes. It was time-consuming (several hours), but it worked well. The mould was gone, leaving a clean but mould-stained roof ready to be dyed back to its original colour. I guess you could say Karlsten Mould Remover helped save me a couple of thousand pounds. Oh, and, one 500ml bottle of spray was just enough for the entire roof.

I had some leather satchels in the back of a wardrobe, on an outside wall, and they went terribly mouldy. I coated the satchels in this stuff, and it cleaned away all the mould (along side a rub down with a cloth) The only downside is I noticed the leather has gone very dry, and has split/cracked in places, so I need to oil them. It is a bit rubbish it's happened, but without this product they would have ended up in the bin, so better than nothing. If I ever did this again, I'd pat dry and oil straight away rather than letting dry completely.

I was very sceptical at first, but thought I would gove it a go. I recently bought a second hand sofa and when it arrived, it had a strong musty / mildew smell. I went online looking for solutions and found this spray. I sprayed the 3 seater sofa thoroughly and left it to air dry for 24 hours. The following day I wiped the sofa with a microfibe cloth on which I put a small amount of Vanish Oxi action diluted in warm water, just to get rid of any leftover dirt/dust. The smell is now completely gone! I'm more than happy with this product and I highly recommend it to everyone!

I had a fail to use it on suitcases externally as I kept them in a shed and decided to use this spray just in case there were mold spores. I also sprayed it on the wall - the mould stains didn’t go (as said in the instructions it removes the spores but not the black spots). The suitcases are stinking with the strong chemical smell inside and outside now. I can’t put anything in the suitcase anymore. Yes, I wiped them as instructed. Only after I washed them with the garden hose the smell from the smell reduced but still feels a bit.

It cleaned the mould, but not everywhere and it came back pretty fast. It is not worth the money. Very disappointing.

My boat had some serious mould marks on the leather seats after its winter storage. This stuff brought them up looking great. Left it on for a good 20 minutes and then wiped with a damp cloth and they have came up fantastic. Still a tiny bit of staining if you look really hard but I'm very happy with the result

I had browsed about on amazon and researched the internet to find a product which was effective on more than just bathroom surfaces, only to stumble upon this spray product. While it seems a bit pricey compared to other mould removers, offering only 500ml for £11.99 at the time of writing, it definitely has had an impact upon the mould in the corner of my bedroom. The scent is what I would describe as a mild sweetness, owing to the fact it doesn't use bleach as a main ingredient. As for removing the stains of mould, it did lighten it up a fair bit, but couldn't completely erase the black stains. I also recommend reading the instructions carefully and following through (15 min soak, wipe off, reapply to try and remove stains for 15 min, final wipe off.) for the best results. It includes the spray nozzle, though it has a standard cap for longer term storage. If you need something for wood, or other surfaces, get this stuff!
