Good for feeding and teething
These are great spoons for babies just starting out with solids. I choose these over other options because they are kitchen grade silicone have the dual ends. When we first started baby food with my daughter I used the textured end to make sure she was getting small amounts easily. This design worked out great because the spoon end is deeper and could unintentionally give the baby too much food at once. Baby also likes to teethe on these, has a good gripping handle. I like all the color set options, we went with a muted set. Now that baby is older, I use the scoop end. Baby is also learning to do it herself and she can easily grip the middle or textured end to try for that hand to mouth movement. These are dishwasher safe and so far no stains at all!

great spoon but I wouldn’t use it as a first spoon
The PrimaStella Silicone Chew Spoon Set for Babies and Toddlers offers a safe and convenient option for introducing solids to little ones. Crafted from high-quality silicone, these spoons are BPA-free, microwave, dishwasher, and freezer safe, ensuring ease of use and cleaning for busy parents. One of the key highlights of these spoons is their softness, providing a gentle surface for babies to chew on during the teething phase. This feature offers relief and comfort while encouraging self-feeding skills. However, a notable drawback is the lack of a mechanism to prevent babies from inserting the spoon too far into their mouths, potentially causing gagging. Especially during the early stages of self-feeding when motor skills are developing, this can be a concern for parents. Despite this issue, the PrimaStella Silicone Chew Spoon Set remains a solid choice for parents seeking a safe and versatile feeding option for their babies and toddlers. Its durability, ease of cleaning, and soft texture make it a practical addition to any mealtime routine, promoting independence and exploration for little ones as they navigate the world of solid foods.

Soft, Safe, and Easy for Babies to Use — Great for Early Feeding Stages
The PrimaStella Silicone Chew Spoon Set has been a helpful addition for feeding my baby, especially during the early stages of introducing solids. The spoons are soft, flexible, and gentle on sensitive gums, which makes feeding more comfortable for little ones. Since they’re made from 100% food‑grade silicone and are free of BPA, PVC, lead, and phthalates, they feel very safe to use daily — something many positive reviews highlight. The design is both practical and baby‑friendly. The short, non‑slip handles make it easier for babies to grasp and practice early self‑feeding skills, whether you’re doing traditional spoon‑feeding or baby‑led weaning. The 3‑in‑1 feature is clever: a spoon on one end and a flat, textured surface on the other for dipping, chewing, or soothing teething discomfort. My baby seemed to enjoy holding and chewing on them between bites, which helps reduce fussiness during meals. Cleaning is simple, too. The silicone material is stain‑resistant, odor‑resistant, and dishwasher‑safe. You can even boil them for thorough sterilization, which is great for maintaining hygiene. On the mixed‑review side, some parents mention wishing for a bit more rigidity for scooping thicker foods, and I agree that slightly firmer tips could help with foods like mashed potatoes or oatmeal. Still, for soft purees and early feeding stages, the flexibility works well. Overall, these spoons are safe, durable, and comfortable for babies — a solid choice for any parent starting their little one on solids. What I liked • Soft silicone gentle on baby’s gums • Safe, food‑grade material with no harmful additives • Baby‑friendly grip encourages self‑feeding • 3‑in‑1 design great for feeding + teething • Easy to clean and sterilize • Perfect size and shape for 6‑month‑old beginners What could be better • Spoon tip could be slightly firmer for thicker foods • Additional color or shape options would be fun for variety

The Best Baby Spoons for Scooping (& actually keeping food on them!) & Holding for Starting Solids
My favorite thing about these spoons is that the bowl part of the spoon is deep enough that food actually stays on them instead of sliding right off like most other spoons. My baby is just learning how to eat solid foods, and with this spoon, he's able to chew/gum on the end with the food without it immediately falling out of his mouth. I love a lot of other things, like the textured middle and end that make it easy for him to hold, there's no metal and they're light so when he inevitably whacks himself in the face or eye he doesn't immediately get upset because he hurt himself, and they're made as one part so they're easy to clean and no seams for food to get stuck in and bacteria to grow.

Great for my preferred style of feeding
Other people have already done a bunch of positive reviews that match my opinions, so I'll address the complaints I've seen in other reviews: Some people are concerned about bowl depth, which is probably more of an issue if you're expecting to be holding a spoon full of puree at a specific angle. if you're intending to let the baby hold the spoon a good chunk of the time, and to feed them more food than just purees (where a deeper spoon helps hold more pieces at the clumsier angles of baby's grip), then it's great. That said, even while starting my kiddo on about half purees to get him used to swallowing, I haven't noticed an issue. Either my kid has a gargantuan mouth, or there's more adult user preference than child functionality flaws in those reviews. I didn't understand the complaints I saw about struggling to get food out of the grooves, unless maybe they're waiting until it's dried into the teething end for several days before they do dishes. Mine rinse right out just fine, as long as the food is still wet. There are conflicting complaints about "too soft/rigid". Expectations always vary, of course, and it's fine to be disappointed at a surprise (I thought they'd be squishier, myself, but it's not a problem), especially since that's something that doesn't come across well in pictures. However, there's no functional flaw here. It's soft enough for any baby without an excessively sensitive mouth. I genuinely don't know how one person was squishing it too much to be a functional spoon, because they are firm enough to hold shape with reasonable force applied.

The only spoons you need
So practical! The material is great to teething babies! It is versatile as it can be used for a teether or a spoon! It is easy to grip and great for babies testing out different foods. My 6 month old loves these!
