PBT Olivia Keycaps 168 Keys Cherry Profile Thick PBT 61/64/75/78/85/87/104/108 Cherry MX Switch Mechanical Keyboards

I bought this keycap set for my wife's TKC1800 keyboard and it looks great. She really loves the Olivia look for the Fauxlivia value. The quality is great and all the keys fit and feel good. We did have an issue however with the '0' key on the numpad because there was a larger 2u in white and only the 1u in black. When I contacted the seller about it, they immediately sent a replacement white 1u '0' keycap without question. It honestly still looked good with the black key but we are very grateful that Easton was able to send a replacement so quickly. We're not keeb enthusiasts enough to pay full price for original GMK Olivias so this was the perfect alternative. I would recommend it for anyone who is also in the same mindset and/or if they'd like some nice keycaps to complete their keyboard while they wait for their group buy on GMKs.

While the overall quality appears to be adequate, the box was opened and bent on arrival with no tape/seal, and the keycaps had some hair and dirt in between them indicating that this was either poorly packaged or had been used and returned, then sold again as new. This is not okay, even if the overall product matches expectations and is of good quality like previous keycap sets I have purchased from them.

To start this review off, I do not know what the quality is like for GMK authentic keycaps and I am basing this off of my experience using this keycap set daily for the last month. Like others, I cannot afford the resell price of authentic Olivia keycaps so I have bought these as an alternative. Appearance Unless you’re a dedicated enthusiast or are actively looking for differences in the details, this set does make it seem like you have GMK Olivia keycaps. As others have said, the legend is not perfect as some letters look uneven especially on the Backspace and on the CapsLock keys. The molding is also different from GMK since these are produced in a different factory. Texture and Finish The other keycap sets I have tried were a 9009 dye-sub clone sold by another brand on Amazon. For comparison, the other keycap set was extremely smooth whereas the PBT on this one has texture. I have seen that the textured feel is more like GMK and so far, I have been enjoying this over the completely smooth keycaps. I game often and the legend has stayed clear which is thanks to the double shot PBT whereas my dye sub keycaps have fading over the WASD keys. One thing I will say is that there is smudging and it will occur on the keycaps especially if you are paying attention to it. Even after wiping the keycaps down, moderate use will cause the smudging to come back. Feel Typing and gaming on these feel great. Overall, In my opinion, this is a great keycap set to buy if you want your keyboard to have that GMK Olivia look. If you accept that you’re not going to have the best quality and understand that what you have is a clone, you’ll be satisfied with these keycaps.
