Chin strap actually should be wider, the fact that it's thinner makes it choke you. It doesn't stay on your head so easily, it does fit my head just fine but still slips while other harnesses without chin straos have been more firmly planted in my head. And what actually annoys me is that it doesn't come with a chain, it now comes with a crappy strap. The neoprene padding is more comfortable than most straps but it'll eventually break off and that's a guarantee. Otherwise the cheap nylon is ok, should hold up as long as nothing rubs hard against it. For being an iron neck product I expected more, even though it's the cheapest product they've got, makes me doubt their more expensive products.

Very sturdy construction and it definitely works as it is supposed to. I have used the chain that comes with it attaching a weight plate as well as a set of elastic band i purchased separately. No need to buy expensive bands, no brand ones work just fine. Only flaw is the chin strap could be more comfortable. I would recommend if you're working on your neck strenght.

I have no fitment issues at all with this harness. It fits so well, I don't use the chin strap. It holds tight to my head with no slipping off. The foam padding makes the harness very comfortable. I have no preference with the weight attachment being rope, or chain. Mine came with rope. It's very strong and has carabiners to attach to the D rings on the harness. I makes no difference at all, other than personal preference. Rope, or chain. Both hold the weight the exact same. You can also use the clip on type resistance bands. I do that for standing neck exercises when I want to move my head forward and sideways. This harness makes that possible and much easier than lying down with a weight plate on your forehead, or the side of your head. This Iron Neck harness is perfectly adjustable to your head with hook and loop, sturdy and strong and allows various ways to work your neck. 5 stars across the board. Great value.

I lost a lot of the strength in my neck, shoulders, and back because of a pinched nerve. Physical therapy is helping, but now I need to start working on regaining my strength and this is one of the ways I'm doing so. I just strapped a smaller weight onto this (don't want to start off with anything that would set me back) and conduct some of my required exercises as usual. The quality is great and there are two straps to adjust it to your particular head size. I was a little worried it'd be too big based on some of the comments, but it fits my head (which is kinda small because I'm small) just fine. It's comfortable and doesn't cause any pain and I'm not fearful of the straps malfunctioning and potentially hurting myself or breaking something from the weight falling. All in all, I'm totally satisfied with the product and, for the money, it's a good buy.

I was in a car accident 30 years ago and I still suffer from it. The top of the trapezius muscle structure is the problem area - basically my neck. But how do you strengthen that area? None of the various weight training exercises I've done over the years has helped, but this seems to be working. I've come up with several easy moves to strengthen different muscle groups, and am starting with easy weight levels with plans to slowly increase them.

Seams ripped x2. Bought one that lasted for 5 workouts. Bought another one bc it was on sale and it ripped on first workout, same place. Meanwhile, the old DMoose is ragged, but lasted almost 2 years.

It does not stay put well at all. Kind of works but not great.
