Great low light, great menu, struggles with sigma lenses fx3a instead of original fx3
Upgrading from the zv e10 after a ton of research, I was specifically looking for something with low light and a mechanical shutter to avoid led banding which the zve1 only had electronic. The menu system touch screen is a welcome improvement. The only con is that this camera and my a7c seem to both struggle with autofocus on all my sigma lenses, my 50mm gm doesn't have this issue at all. It was most noticeable sitting on a tripod with touch tracking locked on black surfaces. My zve10 did not have this issue at all. They also sent me the fx3a even though I ordered the older version so maybe they've run out

Can't go wrong with this camera
If it fits your budget you can't go wrong with this camera. I've been making youtube videos for 8 years and built 3 channels to 100k-500k subs, and finally decided it's time to bring up production value. A beginner can use this camera with good results, and a professional can use it with EXCELLENT results. My short written review here doesn't do it justice, check video reviews on YouTube.

It's the FX3, what more needs to be said.
So many reviews, what's left to say. Great cinema camera.

No More Excuses....
Ok listen....Let me give you a piece of advice. Five star ratings don't come easy by me. And if you're worth your grain of salt- you already know that there isn't, and never will be the "perfect cinema camera". BUT if there were a camera (along with the A7s iii) the FX3 would be as close as you're going to get for a long time, especially at this price point. (Rant Coming) Ok, so it doesn't have but in ND's, or global shutter...Who cares! The sensor readout "feels" like it has global shutter. Get some screw on ND's or a matte box. Really, this camera makes you face the things that truly hold you back. Like lensing, pre-production, lighting, set design, good scripts, and talent! Some advice here: If you're on the fence and can't decide if you should get an Arri Alexa, Red Raptor, BMCC or the like- then explain to me why we have our work on Food Network, Broadcast Commercials, and award winning film shorts. To sum it all up here (and I'm talking to my younger, film school Canon 5DMkii self here) If there was a camera system that held you back the least in the professional world it would be the Sony FX3 (or A7Siii). We currently have the Red Raptor XL, Arri Alexa mini, Canon C200, Panasonic GH5 (love this little powerhouse), Sony A7s iii, Sony FX3, and Sony A7RV. Guess which ones are the most freeing and generate the most profit. Yeah, a full 5 stars for Sony...

Big thumbs up 👍🏽
Best camera out right now … it’s the same as a Sony A7S3 if you wanna save some $$ but I love it

Simply the best.
I tried a bunch of different cameras and lenses in order to find the perfect camera for live production / streaming. I needed a camera which isa) full frameb) can output clean 16:9 on hdmi or sdic) the 16:9 output is coming from full sensor width read (not just a 1:1 read tiny crop from the middle of the sensor like other cameras, i'm looking at you BMDCC6K)d) great in low lightThe FX3 simply checks all these boxes out of the box, and even more. The colors, dynamic range, sharpness, everything out of the box was superb immediately, with very minimal tweaking.I couldn't get close to this particular look with any other cameras, even when I used the exact same lighting and lenses.Every camera has strengths and weaknesses, the FX3 is no exception. Other cameras might has better UI/OS (BMD), better price, or a different color science which might be preferred for others. For my particular use case - high quality live stream with full frame lens, low light - it's beyond perfect.

Unfair Price Hike After Defective Product – Seller Refuses Replacement
I purchased a camera, but the SD card slot was defective. I requested a replacement, and the seller said they would process it after I returned the item. To ensure the item was handled carefully, I packaged it perfectly and included a detailed note explaining the defect. However, during the return process, they increased the price by $200. Without any notice, the seller refunded my money and then informed me they could no longer offer a replacement. Instead, they told me I would have to repurchase the item at the higher price. This is completely unfair. Why should I have to pay more for a defective product? I am extremely dissatisfied with how this was handled and would warn others to be cautious when buying from this seller.
