GGR Supplies AF-20R Aluminum Foil Tape, 2 Inch x 50 Yards, 3.6 Mil

Was recommended by a whole house fan company to seal up the ducting that connects to the fan. After hiring a "handyman" that botched up the install and overcharged me $600 for a full day using duct tape, I had to remove and completely re-do his work because the duct kept detaching. Using this excellent aluminum tape on the ducting and fan, the unit gained at least 30% better flow. I went from opening one window to requiring 2 windows to be open to compensate for the higher air flow. Really happy with this product, it saved my install and it's now done right. It works well for duct repair.

This tape has much better adhesion than many others, and since it is much wider it covers much better. ALWAYS REMEMBER: All these metal tapes are EXTREMELY fragile, they tear unbelievably easy. If what you are taping is going to come under ANY stress through movement or whatever, double or triple it for longevity. It will last MUCH longer.

Didn't work for what I was doing, but I have no complaints about the product itself. It does what it is supposed to, and I tried to get it to work for something it was not supposed to work on. Would buy if I needed it for its intended purpose.

Yea after having a nightmare of an experience in my home I found it necessary to order this tape. The distribution box for HVAC which is about 15 foot long was wide open at every seam it is actually not suppose to have been where it is in fact my home should not be where it is. Long story short I could not use the usual mainstay tape for duct repair I went to every brick and mortar hardware/lumber store called pro HVAC repair services to see if I could buy a roll of this tape, you would have thought I was from some other planet or an entirely different universe or something! None of the people I had asked had ever seen or heard of this size tape before. I won't hype this tape too much as it is a temporary fix to what was looking like an impossible situation and at least it is helping me to cut down on my heating bill for the time being. I can't begin to describe what situation I was in while applying this but will warn that you need to clean the surfaces your going to apply this stuff to and try to squeegee it down I actually had to use a yard stick in my case. At any rate it worked for me.

Works like a charm on my snake's cage. Keeps heat and humidity in and doesn't start pealing. Be sure to pre cut desired lengths because the adhesive is pretty aggressive.

Use this for art project sticks very well. Looks like metal. Very nice tape.
