What type of water should I use on my steamer?

We highly recommend using distilled water to prolong the life of your steamer and to prevent mineral build-up caused by hard water (tap water).

The GS49 Garment Steamer has 1500 watts of powerful steam. Please make sure to connect it to an outlet by itself with no other appliances. Make sure that the outlet can support 1500 watts.

I just got my steamer and the steam hose is really stiff.

The hose is made with dual-insulated material to regulate temperature and once you start using your steamer, the hose will become softer.

The water leaks from the steamer.

Please make sure that the water tank cap is securely attached to the water tank. If it's not attached correctly, the water will not drain properly and would leak.
