How many felt plate dividers and sizes of these dividers?

I don’t remember how many there were but I had a service for 12 snd I had enough for the 12 dinner plates. However, since my China is 100 yrs old, I chose to be a sheet of small bubble wrap.

Do these ship as a flat pack? Can the cardboard be removed to store the cases flat when not in use?

Unfortunately, I only remember they did not ship flat. I immediately pack them with dishes and transported them out of state.
