What's the size from top of hat to rim?

I have a big body (6'6''/285) and have had great success ordering from here, however this recent purchase was unsatisfying until they, without being asked, provided me with a full refund. They said that they had some issues with this beanie's shipment, as it was under-sized and not to the quality standard that they like, and I agree. Caveat emptor on this one...although other products have been great.

How many layers are in this hat?

It's on layer button think and snug. Good for ther cold weather and very warm.
