It i were to get 2 of these what kind of amp should i get?

Lots of flexibility with 2 of these subs, can be wired in different configurations. Check amp prices and decide how much power you want to buy. Quick answer: an amp rated from 375 watts to 750 watts at 1 or 4 ohms can work. I would recommend a 750 watt 1 channel dedicated amp sub that can operate a 1 ohm load. Important to keep power rating and resistance matched. Would it be safe to pair this with a pioneer sub? One went out so I’m debating weather I should replace both or just the blown sub.

It really depends on how it’s wire....if you running separate channels per subwoofer as long they the same impedance it shouldn’t make a difference....But the sound quality I think will be different....with the spec(rms power... frequency etc.)between the two subs. Personally I wouldn’t never run two different manufacturers subwoofers in the same box with the same amp.This a $50.00 per woofer...so it not gonna break the bank.....

Any suggestions for a good amp to get 500 watts out of each of the subs?

Sorry, no. I have had a hard time with mine. I have a 1000 watt amp so it seems to give the speakers too much, after vol25 the subs start to randomly cut out bass. :(

If i get to of these can i run them at 2 ohms on a 1500 watt amp?

No. This is not good for two reasons. 1.) You can't wire 2 of these subs to get a 2 ohm load (you could wire 2 R2D2-12s, but see problem#2). I rely on the Rockford Fosgate website wiring wizard (http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/Support/WiringWizard.aspx) for help setting up my sub-amp combos. The wizard says two of these subs can be wired for either 1ohm or 4 ohm configurations. You could wire ONE of these subs for a 2 ohm load, but that leads to problem #2 - way too much power for one of these subs. Also too much for two of these subs w/ 500 watt peak rating.
