Hanes Women's Shorts, French Terry Bermuda Pocket Shorts, Jersey Knit Fleece Shorts, Women's Bermuda Shorts, 11"

Wonderful shorts in every way: soft and comfy fabric, perfect length just above my knees (I’m 5’7 and 145 pounds), super-packable, great price, and a drawstring waist is always a good idea! : ) I immediately bought 2 black and 1 navy pairs and am so glad I did!

I love these shorts and have bought multiple pairs of these shorts in navy blue. They fit well and have a draw string waist that the string stays in place during washing. They are bermuda length which is top of the knee for me and I am 5'6". Made from french terry cloth, lightweight enough to wear in the humid south and the color stays well through a season of regular washing. They are wrinkle resistant for the most part as long as laundered appropriately.

After a few years of wearing my baggy, faded Danskin shorts, I decided it was time for an upgrade. These shorts were the best I could find at 11” length. I ordered a size down because I always find Hanes products to stretch out and be too big if I don’t. However, I line dry all of my clothes, and I suspect that they would shrink if put in the dryer. They fit well. I didn’t experience excessively wide legs as others have noted. (FYI, I don’t have fat legs.) The inseam is truly 11”, even after washing. I’m 5’7”, and they come to about an inch above my knees. Pockets are small. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because of the cuffs. Cuffs are nice detail on a pair of woven shorts, but with a heavier knit fabric they just look bulky and sloppy. They are only tacked down in most places, but are incorporated into the seams at the sides of the shorts, so they would be difficult to let down. Hanes should consider ditching that feature, as it doesn’t add to the attractiveness of the shorts. I suppose they could be ironed to look better, but I’m not going to bother ironing a pair of shorts I will only wear around the house and yard. Overall, though, I like them, and will probably order again in another color. UPDATE: After wearing the shorts for a while, I want to note that the legs do stretch out somewhat. I have found this to be true of most shorts of this type, and they still look okay. The cuffs look better than I thought they would, and are laying flat for the most part. The waist has a wide piece of elastic, and this is wrinkling in the front from sitting down/bending over. Requires frequent adjustment to flatten it out. Overall, still okay for casual knit shorts. I don’t wear them to be fashionable. Lol

So comfortable. The perfect length and weight. They are a lighter fleece so they are not too heavy. Perfect for a lazy day around the house or a walk around the block. They run true to size and wash very nicely. The material is soft without being fuzzy. Great pair of bumming around shorts for a really great price.

They run very large. The cotton fabric feels good.

These shorts are so comfortable. They are high waisted with both a stretchy waistband and drawstring to tighten the waist. I'm only 4'11 so the length fits just over my knee caps. The pockets are usable but barely fit a cell phone. I bought the navy and it is true to color shown. I wear size 8 (125 #) could have tried a small but I'll see if the medium shrinks when washed. Definitely cool to wear in this 90° summer heat.

Perfect in every way! Great length for my 5’ frame! Very flattering! Soft and stretchy but hold their shape! Perfect weight!

Good quality. Almost to knee. Fits loose, consider sizing down. Waist is not too elastic, requires drawstring to keep snug.

Pockets. Elastic drawstring waist. Coverage without weight. They hit above the knee, and cover my lumpy parts. I love these shorts. They wash and dry great and don’t shrink. Comfort with pockets. Need I say more?
