I have only minor swirls and lines.. do i have to sand it? can't i just buff?

Make sure you use at least 2000 or 3000 sand grit paper... that is very helpful.

do you need to use a buffer or can you buff the product in another way? by hand? like for small objects.

Great question. I am sure you are able to use your hand, though when using an orbital sanding you would get better results. That is what normally we would recommend.

Can this product be used over water based polyurethane?

It’s a combination of a polish and cleaner. I know it works amazing on epoxy. I create katana swords using different woods. I epoxy paint the blade and sanded to a 10,000 grit which still left a haze I was not happy with. This product is the bomb and it brought my sword blade to life. With a polyurethane I’m not sure. It would have to be multiple coats, thick and probably a gloss finish. It may work as poly scratches.

Would this work on an onyx shower?
