Good product
Easy to install, works great. Charged in less than 5 hours using iPhone charger. Don't lose the on/off switch on your Garmin when installing! LOL

Exact match. Installation is slightly difficult, but it works well.
Works well on a Garmin Nuvi 260W. The hardest part was getting the case open. Follow the video instructions carefully. The plastic spudger tool they supply with the kit is pretty low-quality, but you'll only have to use it once. LOL Battery appears to be a nearly exact match to the original 1250 mah battery that was in the Garmin. The cable connector is exactly the same. It fits nicely into the case. I mounted it with a little double-sided tape (not supplied in kit) and it stays put with no problem. I don't see any issues, but I will update this once we've tried it out and checked the battery life. All in all, good kit. Good price. Good value. You can bring new life back into that old Garmin GPS. No reason to throw it away if it works. And it will get you out of a jam if you are way out in the woods, away from the cell towers where Google Maps doesn't work.

Replacement Battery for Nuvi255W GPS
Fairly easy replacement, for old battery that failed. A bit fiddly to remove the screen from the back half, but once open, its a quick replacement. I reused the 2sided tape that was on the original battery, and reassembled. Hardest part was getting the video cable back into its connector. Works great. Included tools are pretty much cheap junk. I didn't use them...

Works, but missing key tool.
Battery works. Took off a star because kit did not come with the hex tool needed to open so I needed to hunt down one I had. Paid for the full kit, I expect full kit.

Garmin Nüvi 255W-FITS
This fit my old Garmin Nüvi 255W. It wasn't holding a charge and I used my smartphone all the time. But-there are times with there is no cell signal, but GPS would be there. So-I gave it a shot. Super easy to replace the old original battery. There is a youtube video with great instructions. This battery comes with tools, the microscrewdriver and pry tool. It works too! Right out of the box it had a 75% charge. This is worth the price, way cheaper than a new GPS. And-I remembered I had bought lifetime maps so I updated and I have a sollid backup plan when cell signal is weak.

Not holding charge (39%) at 3 months
Battery is not holding charge now after 3 months. It is now at capacity at 39%. Followed the instructions to charge the battery at install
