Works good, nice convenient size so you don't have to keep buying it. I actually like Optimum better now as a rinseless wash. I live in SOCAL and we are in a drought, so not a good time to fire up the hose and wash my vehicles. If you don't like to use a rinseless wash and strictly want a spray on wash, this works fine for that application. I prefer Mequiars Ultimate wash n wax though. It smells better and I feel it shines more as a wash/quick detailer. But for a quick spray on a car that's not very dirty, this stuff will work. Probably won't buy again because there are so many other better options, but I will definitely use up my gallon as it does work.

I should have bought this sooner. I would have saved so much on water bill lol. Anyway, it's great and easy to use. The scent is great as well.

The good: The microfiber towels that come with this set are very plush and nice. I plan on buying a large supply of these to have on hand for all my detailing needs. The spray-on wash does a beautiful job when the conditions allow. For a mildly dirty car in mild to warm weather, this spray on wash will quickly have your car looking beautiful and shiny. I have not noticed any scratching or swirl marks in my black finish, which was a concern I had before trying this product. The bad: The primary reason I bought this product was in an effort to keep my car somewhat clean during our long Maine winter. We frequently have salt and sand on our roads to fight the snowy winter conditions here, so that wreaks havoc on the finish of a vehicle- especially a black one. My car spends the majority of the winter covered in a layer of salt until the odd warm day when I'm able to drag out a hose and clean it off. I hoped that the spray on wash would be the answer to my problems because it's marketed as a product that is appropriate for days when it's too cold to wash a car with soap and water. I'm not sure what qualifies as that type of day in Southern California, but here in Maine when I find a sunny day in the 30's, I'm happy to head out and wash my car with soap and water- unfortunately, those days are few and far between here in the winter. Most days don't get ouf of the 20's for the high. I recently attempted to use the spray on wash on my car on a day where the temp was around 18 degrees. The mist froze directly on contact with my car and was not able to be wiped off. I went back out to my garage the next day when it was around 28. This time, I was able to wipe the product before it froze, but it was impossible to buff it to a shine. It just spread around in a thick gross slime- imagine spreading petroleum jelly on your finish- that's basically what it looked like. Back to the drawing board, I guess. I hate the harsh treatment of taking my car through touchless car washes, but it just seems like there is no real alternative in very cold environments. I'm still a fan of Griots products, I'm more disappointed in our cold weather than in the product itself, it's just frustrating that it doesn't work when it's truly cold.

My experience: I've been using waterless car wash products for over 3-years. I've been using Freedom and Croftgate brands prior, but the shipping and high prices had me looking for something else. I decided to try Griot's Garage, and the free shipping with Amazon Prime made the price/product even more attractive. After a few car washes, all I can keep saying is WOW! If you're familiar with waterless car washes: Griot's Garage is by far the easiest to buff out. I've applied it in warm and dry conditions, and in damp and foggy conditions. No matter what the humidity, Griot's takes only a couple passes with a dry microfiber to buff into a slick and clean shine. No chasing down hazy areas anymore! Griot's leaves a protective coating just like higher quality brands too. If you're new to waterlerss car washes: This is definitely a great product to start with. Very little buffing required, and it works great on windows too. Griot's leaves behind a slick feel, similar to a vehicle that's just been waxed. Works as well as higher-priced brands in removal of road grime, and bird droppings. Good quality waterless car washes (Griot's included!) will, over time, leave a slick protective coating on the vehicle's clear coat. This makes cleaning easier and easier, as the grime, dirt, and droppings will slide right off the vehicle. I've used various waterless brands on vehicles from 1969 to 2013, with the best results coming from vehicles with an intact clear coat.
