In the write-up it refers to this being for electric razors. But then customers seem to use it with safety razors. Is it truly good for both?

I have never tried it with an electric, but with a blade, I use it under shaving cream and it makes for a close, comfortable shave. I have used shave oil--another brand--without shaving cream and it worked well also. I have a pretty tough beard, so I like the extra lubrication of the cream.
