Great straightening brush. I’m not one to spend a lot of time on my hair, but my hair as I get older is just getting more and more frizzy. This brush heats up super quick and so easy to use. My hair is medium thick shoulder length with some wave to it. This brush straightened it in 2 pass throughs. It’s not as straight as a straightening iron but so much easier to use and gives great results.

PRETEXT- have background in cosmetology/ hair but no longer work in the field and since I started working more in digital marketing and web design (my first love) I stopped caring about how my hair looked every day since most of what I do is remote. I now have VERY long, semi wavy, fine but dense hair that grew out past my butt when I stopped working in the salon where everyone would style, cut, color etc during the down time each other's hair. Needless to say, I stopped bothering with the heat tools because the sheer weight of my hair would make it lay flat. BUT, after experiencing the coldest winter in Florida we've had for nearly 6 years, I decided I needed to get something I could use after I got out of the shower so I don't end up going to bed with wet hair and catching a chill. I have used flat irons and other tools in the past, but found that some don't work as well if you have a lot of hair or thick / dense hair. Even fine hair at the wrong temp will start to flip and do some strange things. I was wary, but at this price I figured if it was a no dice I could pass it on to my sister in law or to my niece to practice on her own cosmetology mannequin. MY REVIEW FIRST OFF this thing heats FAST. I set it at 400 just to get it warmed and found that I needed to set it lower because it warmed up so quickly. My hair was towel dried and since it's fine, it will literally tangle itself up as you comb or brush it, so I did a brush through first but knew it wouldn't matter. USE- First pass at 345 I was shocked that not only was it not steaming or burning my hair, where I was using it like you would a round brush trying to stay away from my face and scalp, the bristles, handle, and back plate of this brush ARE NOT HOT. Running it through normally, it barely pulled my hair, I felt no heat against my scalp and didn't feel like I was going to burn my face. In about 25 mins, my hair was straight and dry, untangled, and soft. It didn't FEEL dry or brittle (damaged). I didn't feel like my tangles were going to rip the bristles out. This is a well made hot tool that I would be comfortable letting my 11 year old niece use on her own due to the fact that the heat stays close to the plate and does not radiate to any other portion of the brush. I just wanted to do a straighten and dry without a blow dryer, but you could clearly do much more if you wanted (and I didn't even need a mirror to do it.) I like how the heat setting locks so you can hold the handle without worrying about hitting the buttons and I never felt like I was pulling hard enough for it to fall from my hand. My only complainta are I do wish it came with some kind of stand for setting on the counter. It does have a loop for hanging on the cord, but there's no kickstand like other devices which isn't a big deal because the heat stays on the front plate of the brush. Aside from that, a longer cord would be nice but that's what we have extension cords for. TLDR 5/5, wasn't bribed, great for virtually any hair type, heats fast, feels durable and well made, it won't give you a super shiny straightened look like a standard flat iron but if you're trying to use it out of the shower for a quick straight and from wet to dry before work, school, or bed, it will get you there with less damage and hassle than your CHI. Ideal for preteens or adolescents considering the heating element stays in the front plate and the bristles don't pull as they are wide and rubber. I think this would also be great on ethnic hair, which was my specialty, and will definitely do less damage to your locks than a relaxer / perm, ladies!

Used it right away and it really worked for my hair. I must say I do have thinner hair, but it made my hair very straight around the edges and on all over. I would say I am very please with it and the brush did not have any residue from hair after.

Pretty easy to use and it does straighten my hair. My hair is color treated and fine with curly that falls mostly out when blow drying (even with a diffuser) or using the new curling iron blowers . It can't curl or create volume like I can with a flat iron, but it does straighten and get rid of frizz.

Worked perfect on my 4C hair, took like 10 minutes to fully blow dry and it worked out so well!!! Highly recommend this to anyone who needs their hair blow dryed. The combs dont hurt when you brush it either!

I had high expectations for this straightener brush. I have shoulder-length, fine hair, fairly straight with a few sections that have a natural wave. I usually blow dry and then use a flat iron to refine my look. The positives: it heats up quickly, the button lock is easy (so you don't accidentally change the temp or turn it off while using it), and is easy to use. The negatives: it's heavy (heavier than my regular straightener), you need to pull your hair into/against the straightening bristles against the back of the brush and then pull slowly away from your head to keep the hair within the heated area and adjust frequently. You still have to section hair and straighten slowly. The straightening performance is just ok in my opinion. The result is not as straight, nor as polished and finished as my traditional straightener and it takes about the same amount of time. I was hoping this would be a great alternative to bringing my straightener for traveling, but I don't plan to carry a heavier hair tool with me that doesn't save any time.

So quick and easy to use to smooth my hair. After a month of daily use no damage to my hair. Just a quick run-through and it tames and smooths my hair. Also love that it has automatic turn-off. No getting to work and wondering if I unplugged the device.

Holy cow! I was hopeful but not holding my breath on this brush. I’m SO glad I got it. My hair is straight I less than ten minutes. I have medium hair that’s mid length. It’s super easy to use, with the tips staying cool and I don’t have to worry about burning my head. I don’t feel like it is as damaging on my hair as a traditional straightener.

questa spazzola fa quanto promesso, liscia meglio di una piastra. Come consigliato nelle istruzioni bisogna prima asciugare i capelli, niente paura se rimarranno vaporosi all'inizio. Meglio se dividete i capelli in ciocche alla prima piega, per una ripassata il giorno dopo, vanno bene anche i capelli tutti insieme. Il tasto dell'accensione non spegne premendo 2 volte, come indicato nelle istruzioni, bisogna togliere la spina, ma questo secondo me è voluto perché usandola capita che un dito prema sul tasto spegnendola, in questo modo rimane sempre accesa. La temperatura minima a 180° é più che sufficiente per un capello medio .Ripassate 4/5 volte la ciocca tenendola tirata con l'altra mano e il gioco é fatto.
