Decent projector for a dark room. It is a bit of a hit or miss for outside home use.
This projector is pretty decent for a budgeted projector. First thing to note is that this projector has built in wifi so it allows you to stream on this thing so I do not have to hook up my chrome cast or anything to it. Now that being said, this is a bit smaller than your giant high price projector but still a decent size. With this, it provides a pretty clear picture while giving you multiple media and streaming options which is a plus for this projector. I will say the lumens are not too bright so you will need to a semi dark room to really get the best picture quality. That being said, this may not be the best thing thing to have for outdoor unless it is dark. The picture is actually really good for something of this size and price. Now it is not something you can just put in your pocket but it does come with a simple backpack. You can pack this device inside and walk around. The back pack is not too high quality. The straps are very basic and probably would hurt my shoulder after long term. It also does not have too much space to hold cables and power cord. It bulges out the top or side depending on how you squeeze the cable in. That being said it still provides you something to store your projector in and take on the go as needed. There are two HDMI port which is nice. I do not have to plug in a switch into this device. This makes it great for your HDMI devices or your PC (I have both plugged in). I guess the best thing about this is if you are trying to plug in an older computer you have the option to do that. There is also one USB ports for a thumb drive or power to power a device. I did try using the usb port with a fire stick but unfortunately it requires more power than what the USB can provide. I usually just use the USB port the most as it is easy to just put movies on a USB and plug into the device. It also comes with a micro SD card reader and from what I can tell can support up to 128 gb (max I have on hand). It also saves you on needing to transport big items to plug into the projector like a bluray player and such. All you need to do is plug the USB or micro SD card into the device and instant video. From what I can tell, it supports MP4 at least for video and exFat for thumb drive. It also seems to play MKV very well but does not support subtitles. For resolution, you can get 1080p out of it. I can actually game on it too but it is not the best quality of video for it as you do get that ghosting kind of feel when playing. It is still a good thing to have a night for horror game playing. I think for the best results you should use an overhead screen but I have a full white wall which is what I use. From what I can tell, any white wall works pretty well with this projector although you may not like the detail of the pictures as much compared to an overhead screen. If you gave a presentation, you can easily see the words and pictures on the slides. Also for the best results I really can only use this device with as little light as possible. One thing I will say is that this overhead can get loud as it generates a lot of heat. Most of the time you can drown out the sound by just playing a movie on it. There are vents so make sure that is not covered as you may actually burn the device out. You can use aux cable to connect to a speaker which is what I use as the on board speakers are nice but I have to have them maxed just to get okay sound out of them. The built in speakers are also nice to have as you do not have to carry portable speakers with you. With the plug in, you can still control the sound through the projector. I normally just preset in my speakers so I do not blow the speakers. I would say the speakers on the projector are decent but definitely not the best thing in the world but it gets the job done. You are not going to be getting surround sound but it is louder than the fan which is good. The outer design looks really nice with a nice finish on the top that is unique. It definitely keeps dust from really building up on the projector keeping it looking nice. Compared to other projects, this one does come with a cover for your lens which unfortunately does pop off a bit easily which is annoying. It holds but a light tap causes it to fall off. You can also adjust the lens clarity of the image. The remote is nice and simple. It is prone to yellowing so do not leave it in the sun. It has to be direct line of sight to work but the controls are very easy to follow. There are also controls on the projector. You can mount this but be aware that it does not come with any mounting crews. It does come with a simple HDMI cable and power cord that does have a power brick so be aware of that. I do not know exactly how long each bulb will last but I only use it at night really for movie length. There is a sleep mode that I can be set up manually and again it does have its own built in media player and wifi for streaming. Overall I would say this device is a great thing to have. It gives you a different way for watching movies and view pictures while keeping the form factor small. Be aware that it does come with a bag but it can be a bit annoying to fit all the cables and such inside as it really only has space for the projector. The picture quality is pretty good but it does require a darker room.

Opinion of a college student, UPDATED 3/30/22 READ BELOW
Quick background: I'm a junior in college and have preferred projectors over buying TV's (easier to transfer and select different screen sizes). I typically setup a projector in the living room to blast up on the wall without a screen or background. I've been using a cheaper RSA projector for quite sometime, and I have not considered upgrading for a while. As I was browsing deals of the day I stumbled across this projector. I tend to research products extensively before buying and ultimately decided I would give this projector a go. After a few weeks of playing with its multiple features this is the conclusion I've come to: Picture Quality: The first thing I noticed was how crisp and detailed the picture was. I was just using a wall in my room and it looked like a built in 250inch TV. I tried to take some pictures of the quality but phone cameras don't do this justice. I fiddled around with a fire stick, xbox 360, and media player/mobile device hookups. Movies look fantastic as well as video games such as rock band off the 360. The mobile device display wasn't the best and tends to seem glitchy while moving from app to app or streaming. I feel the media player was not on par compared to the price point. Remote Control: The remote is awful. It gets the job done, yeah ok. It was made of super cheap material and is obviously noticeable apon opening. The buttons can be awkward to click, and the projector doesn't always pick up commands from the remote. You'll probably find yourself clicking the buttons multiple times before getting a response. Sound: Another thing I wanted to touch on is the sound. This goes for both the actual audio of the projector and the noise of the fan. The audio is OK on the projector. I'm an audiophile and to me, this just wasn't enough. There is no way to fix input lag when connected to speakers via bluetooth. To put this into perspective, rock band has to adjust to a 255ms audio delay between what's on the screen and the sound matching up to it. This differs from TV's and monitors averaging around 30ms. So watching things connected to bluetooth speakers might bother those wanting to hear explosions the second something explodes in a movie or video game. (not sure if an audio cable is significantly better or not. I would assume it is) Lastly, the fan in this machine is pretty loud. I have no other middle size projectors to compare it to, but it just seems to be louder than it should be. It doesnt bug me that much. Other Notes: One weird thing about this projector appears after its turned off. Once it is completely powered down, there is still a faint bit of light that shines from the projector. In a pitch black room, you'll notice it. It's the last screen that the projector was playing before it shut down. Not a huge problem as i just put on the lens cap when I'm done using it Overall this is a solid projector that offers pretty competitive picture quality when compared to other projectors. For the price point I feel like there could be plenty of improvements such as media player lag issues and the trash remote. I will not be returning it. It will workout well in my apartment for college. UPDATE 3/30/22 - The bulb in this projector went out on me this past month. I tried to contact the company about the issue. They began ghosting me to avoid providing a solution to the problem. This projector isn't old at all and the bulb already went out. DONT EXPECT ANY SUPPORT FROM THIS COMPANY! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! There are PLENTY of other options out there with accredited companies with accommodating support teams. FANGOR can't deliver in the customer service. You've been warned! ANOTHER update 7/13/22 - Support ended up reaching out to me about the product issue only AFTER I updated this review about it. It's just weird that it took months to conveniently get back to me right when one of their most viewed reviews is changed to one star. I stand by my rating because I'm still not convinced this company has the heart to help people who aren't affecting their sales. I guess I'm lucky this review caught traction. Be aware!

They made things right
This was a really nice projector while it lasted. It showed a really clear picture and was bright even in a lit room. The sound was okay but most would want to connect a sound bar or some other sound support. I would say it was below the average TV sound. It will support connection to two HDMI devices. I had the projector for just at a year and it has failed. I turned it on yesterday and it had horizontal lines running through it. I think for a $350 projector the company should do better then a 6 window. Currently if you buy it and you have issues you can talk to customer service during the first 6 months only. Now what do I do? Im guessing its trash and I have to spend money again. I would stay clear of them due to lack of support and durability. Update: September 16 2021. The Company did reach out to me although it took a little time. They promptly offered a fair resolution. I really appreciate a company standing by thier products and making it right if there are problems. I would definitely give them another shot. As I said in my initial review this was a high quality budget friendly projector!
