Very Basic Smart Features - Tracking not great
This is my second purchase of this toothbrush due to leaving my other one in a hotel! The Philips Sonicare range are good in my opinion, having used both oral B and Philips i do prefer the Philips due to the fact it is much quieter when brushing. The toothbrush is stylish and smart, battery life is ok - lasts me around a week before i need to charge. It's easy to keep clean and the wireless charging is great. The vegan leather case is smart, although i do wish it had an internal USB C cord instead of a separate one which you need to remember to pack.Rather annoyingly you only get one toothbrush head in this pack - the rest of the world seem to get 4 included, however us brits as always get taken advantage of.The smart features are a complete gimmick in my personal opinion, the mouth tracking is poor and continuously gets the location wrong. If it does miss a section then there is no going back without a manual re start of the brush and then the app will follow on - surely the smart features should tell me to go back and clean an area that it feels i have neglected. I think the oral B is much better at directing you than the Philips. I do however like the smart brush head count - to le me know when i need to replace the extortionately priced toothbrush heads!!I am a fan of electric brushing and i do feel my teeth are much cleaner than with a manual brush. I like this brush however don't believe the hype is all i am saying and then you won't be disappointed. Oh and take a personal loan out for the replacement heads!!

Expensive but Worth It
This is the best brush I’ve ever used. I’ve gone from single use vibration one to sharing an oral b body to this and this is eons better.I’m sensitive to rubberised material so I love that the body if this is all one material. There’s only one button, customisation is done through the app which is very intuitive and easy to set up and use. The brush feels quality and is on the lighter side which is preferable for me. Still a good weight though and feels & looks sleek & expensive.Only got it today so can’t comment on battery but it came just over 50% charged so I’m expecting about a week. The charger itself is USB which is great - I don’t have to keep it in the bathroom. However the plastic cover does feel a little cheap compared to the rest of the brush and accessories. It’s only letdown. The charging case is super smart and faux leather in a colour matching the brush - midnight blue in my case. I love the look and the feel and I’m hoping it’ll last me years.I must say though I’m glad I got it half price. It’s absolutely worth that money but I’m not sure it’s worth full price.. I guess only time will tell. So far so good.

So disappointing, don't buy.
This was great UNTIL about 3 weeks of use, when the power level dropped considerably. I don't know if this was a feature of the brush (adapting to my brushing style) or just a rubbish product. But I bought it because it was the most powerful brush on the market. There is no way to manually adjust the power level, so I was stuck with a weak toothbrush. I then had to return it to Amazon which is still in process and taking weeks. When I eventually get the money back, I'll buy a better value toothbrush - I advise you to save time and money and do the same.

Now my favourite toothbrush
Had this for some time now and it definitely out performs my previous sonicare. The travel case is handy and has a usb C connector for charging

Excellent overall
Really pleased with this toothbrush on the whole, it's very powerful and leaves your teeth feeling really clean. I dislike how easy it is to accidentally change the intensity or turn it off whilst using though, and it's pretty loud. The app is pretty useless in my opinion, suggesting I need to pay more attention to all of my teeth despite a thorough 3 min clean of my teeth. It seems to make no sense no matter what I do. It also turns itself off automatically and when turned back on records that as a separate clean. Overall though I'm really pleased, as a standalone toothbrush it does an excellent job and looks great. I like the automated head ordering functionality in the app and the case and charger feel premium. The heads feel like they don't quite fit though, with a fairly large gap between the base of the head and the brush which you need to clean thoroughly.

Great Design with Modern Charging, But Consider the Cost
The Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Prestige 9900 toothbrush offers some advanced features, echoing much of what made its predecessor, the Sonicare 9000, popular. However, there are a few upgrades in the 9900 model that may catch the eye of tech enthusiasts, particularly the addition of a USB-C charging case. This feature modernizes the charging experience and it is convenient for travelers who prefer carrying fewer cables.Performance-wise, the DiamondClean Prestige 9900 performs similarly to the Sonicare 9000, offering excellent cleaning capabilities, various brushing modes, and a sleek design. The real differentiator here is the charging technology. When it comes to value, it’s important to note that the 9900 model is priced significantly higher than the 9000. This price increase is primarily for the new charging feature and slightly updated aesthetics. For those already using the Sonicare 9000, upgrading to the 9900 does not provide enough value to justify the cost, especially considering the performance similarities. However, if you're new to the Sonicare range or in a position to indulge in the latest model, the DiamondClean Prestige 9900 with its USB-C charging case is certainly a luxurious and convenient choice. It's perfect for anyone looking to integrate more tech-savvy solutions into their daily routine, provided the price point is within your comfort zone.

Probably the best electric toothbrush in the world
I bought this to replace my Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart which finally died after 6 years of faithful service. My dentist always compliments me on my oral hygiene so much so that at 57 years of age I have yet had to see a hygienist because, as my dentist can confirm my teeth are virtually plaque free.I attribute this solely to my old Sonicare toothbrush.I had no hesitation in immediately purchasing this new, updated version of my old toothbrush and expected it to behave in more or less the same way. In someways it did. It was comfortable to hold, nicely weighted and good to look at. The performance however was different. It is actually better (I didn’t think it possible) than my old one. Initially I thought it a little vicious in its vibration and indeed it was. But this is no ordinary toothbrush, it “learns” and it has now settled into a very effective brushing programme that perfectly suits my brushing style. My teeth have never felt so clean and I can definitely see that they are whiter. The included charging case (with USB cable) is very attractive and effective, perfect for travelling. In my opinion this, being Philips top of the range Sonicare has to the best electric toothbrush available. I haven’t always bought Sonicare, I have tried the others but believe me, once you give one of these a go you won’t look back and your dentist will thank you for it!

Works well but fault develops each time
Bought 11 May 2024 to replace a Philips Sonicare similar looking model which stopped working (charged but didn’t switch on, noticed a split in the top white rubber seal). The 9900 started to vibrate loudly, Phillips sent a replacement after I returned mine. I received it 2 July 2024, it’s worked fine until now (6 Jan 2025), making a loud vibrating noise, the shaft is loose and the seal is split. It hasn’t been dropped or mishandled and genuine Phillips heads have been used. It’s really bad to happen twice, not counting my previous model.I like the Sonicare 9900, gives an excellent clean and a noticeable difference to my teeth, a definite shine on old teeth. The app lacks something, there’s set patterns to brush, whereas I’d like a custom one, right to left front not third sections and often it doesn’t register I have cleaned a section. App instructions aren’t important though. All in all, I like it, 5 stars. Minus a star for the app, minus another 3 stars for the short life before going faulty, add another star back on for the easy replacement service (until the guarantee expires). It was expensive, I will spend less next time, probably switch makes.

Great design and super functional and quiet operation
What a great toothbrush! well, it would have to be for the price! but the unit is quiet, cleans really well and is phenomenal for travel being so small and with a USB-C travel case, its super simple to charge on the go too.

Great product.
Great brush, really love it. Worth the cost.

Stylish and cleaning well
I love this product. Unfortunately it stopped connecting to the app after one week. But customer care in Dubai is so good. They changed the brush to the new on in just 24 hours. My boyfriend complained about the price but after using and seeing all the app features he said its worth it. Got him his for his birthday.
