What are the ingredients? Any manure(cow, chicken or otherwise)?

The compost is made with recycled materials including brush, cut firewood, garden debris, grass clippings, leaves, sod, vegetable waste, and wood chips.  Blue Ribbon does not utilize any animal bedding or manure in this product. Tested by a certified lab, the compost meets OMRI’s standards for use in organic production as well as parameters set by the US Composting Council’s Seal of Testing Assurance program. How much soil does a 35 lb bag amend?

A 35-Pound Bag = Volume: 1 cubic ft
Here is a helpful rule of thumb for compost:

*To determine the number of bags needed:   square feet  X  inches/depth of compost  X  0.124 =  # of bags needed

Can I get a question answered by the manufacturer? Is this compost sifted by microns?

As a seller, we can say the  Blue Ribbon Compost is not sifted and does not contain any sift additives.  
This product is run through a 3/8" screen as part of the processing.

Are the grass clippings guaranteed not to be sprayed with fertilizer and pesticides ?

While we are not the manufacturer of this product, we work closely with the folks that do produce this. It is processed at a local DNR-permitted facility.
Blue Ribbon Organic Compost meets US Composting Council “Seal of Approval” and Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) requirements to ensure not only a quality product but a safe one
Certified for organic production, vegetable and flower gardening, use around trees and shrubs, and lawn application.
It is monitored for trace metals, unwanted pathogens, and compost maturity.
It is also tested quarterly to ensure the product is safe and free of weed seed.
