not bad
I always enjoy trying new foods from around the world, so of course jumped at the chance to try this box of snacks. it has a combination of both sweet and savoury snacks, some which tasted very similar to snacks we have here. here's what I thought of every snack: petito patim - a bar of small breakable chunks in the shape of paw prints. tastes very creamy and similar to a popular children's chocolate we have here in the uk. cokomel pofti - marshmallow with what looks like strawberry hundreds and thousands on top. the biscuit part is soft but hasn't got much taste and the marshmallow part smells a lot like strawberry milkshake, but taste wise was very bland. popios - being strawberry flavoured and scented I was surprised this popping candy wasn't pink, but more of an off white colour. Still the usual popping goodness kids and adults alike will love. wanted karamel - for a caramel bar there wasn't much caramel at all, it was mostly biscuit but it was nice harby - looks and tastes like a popular chocolate bar here. I did find it very chewy though and very crumbly cin - smells very much like orange creams with a similar tang to Jaffa cakes. soft biscuit with a jelly type topping surrounded by hundreds and thousands. nutymax - tastes very much like a giant version of a nutty chocolate your nan would have at xmas, except with more wafer. it is essentially just 2 wafers sandwiched together with a cream type filling and a nutty chocolate filling. ask takinda - very creamy and so nice. it doesn't even taste like tiramisu. it's got a wafer and creamy filling. hosbes - pack of 6 thin finger wafers, smells like banana milkshake and tastes of a hint of banana. poti - I'm assuming this was meant to be carrot cake as it shows carrot on the front, i don't really like carrot cake so was hesitant to try it. turns out you can't taste the carrot at all, in fact it wasn't too bad taste wise, sadly i did find it dry though.

Turkish sweets box
I was really, really impressed with this. I’d heard of none of them before, but now one of them has become my favourite chocolate. The white wafer Tadelle is just incredible. It’s like a white kinder bueno, but better. The other chocolates are really nice, the chewy caramel biscuit one is a close favourite, and the green pistachio wafer is also brilliant. It’s a good mix of chocolate with 2 pure sweet style things and 2 pretzel-savoury type packets. With all of them coming in at just around £1 each, I think it’s great value for money. The black tadelle is like a high quality dark chocolate truffle, it’s amazing. I’m overwhelmed with how much nicer Turkish chocolates are. They’re way better than UK ones! And the box itself had all the descriptions of the chocolates and calorie info. I’m very impressed overall.

Rubbish and no Turkish snacks at all
Really disappointing ‘Turkish’ munchie box. We have been buying these for ages, as my family loves Turkish snacks and the last two boxes there have been zero recognisable Turkish snacks. This box was awful, with only one or two ‘similar’ products, and such a disappointment. Really don’t think we will bother any more - and instead visit the Turkish shops. Really don’t recommend this box anymore, which is so sad because they were amazing. Total let down, and not worth the money at all.

Tasty snacks from the Orient
13 is my lucky number. And guess what? There are 13 snacks in this neat, fun, colourful package that comes all the way from Turkey. Let's take things in turn: The snack pack comes well packaged. Although there was no bubble wrap or anything, it reached me without any major breakage and most snacks were in good order. All were within their sell by date, but then again, you'd expect that, right?!?! The snack pack I got contained only 2 savoury snacks and 11 sweet snacks. You can immediately see a bias there, which I did not mind, but found rather odd, especially since the snack pack is called "Turkish Munchies". Who said that munchies are only for reserved for sweet things? Anyway, seeing past this, here id my verdict on each individual snack (see third photo for all of them laid out for your viewing pleasure). Savoury snacks: 1) Ulker Cubuk Kraker - pretty much lightly salted pretzel sticks - too weak on the salt for my taste! 2) Krispi Cubuk Kraker - a real cracker - box said one could get a random one - I got the one with herbs and it was absolutely delicious with a string garlicy and parsley flavour! Sweet snacks: 3) Funny coconut marshmallow - need I say more?!?! I took one small bite, did not like it and threw it away 4) Harby - quite nice, caramel-based biscuit and chocolate bar 5) Tadelle Bitter - a more bittery biscuit based chocolate bar, like MARS, but a bit more rich 6) Tadelle Maxinut - a quite nutty, mild chocolaty, wafer layered chocolate bar 7) Sarelle - rich, nutty, nugat-y bar, a pleasant surprise 8) Alpella - white chocolaty bar with layers of wafers - nothing really special 9) petito - Penguin-like mini bar 10) Kremini - MOAM style sweet, watermelon flavour, what's not to like? 11) Eti Cin - strwberry flavoured tartlet with sprinkles - nice and sweet 12) Hosbes - wafers with postachio and chocolate filling - simply AMAZING 13) Shoofy boom - cola-flavoures lollipop with popping candy - nice and it reminded me of my childhood Overall, from a taste perspective, the majority of the snacks were above average with a few exceptions. People will appreciate the tastes I think. Well worth a try!

Offert à Pâques , les enfants ont appréciés la Découverte d’autres gâteaux ( plus sucré que salé ) même si rien d’extraordinaire. Mais je recommanderais sûrement
