Despite the photos, can anyone attest to this being waterproof and not merely water resistant?

I had my HD in this case with a waterbottle that spilled in my backpack. The case was soaked on the inside. I'd say the main fabric resists water but water can seep through the zipper. I'm waiting for the drive to dry out before I plug it in to see if it survived the swim.

I have two of these. One for my WD EasyStore 1 TB drive and one for my WD Elements 2 TB drive. The 2 TB is about twice as thick as the 1 TB drive and they each fit comfortably in their individual cases, along with the Owners Manual and the USB cable. Remember this case is for the drive...not a case for all our electronics. .

My Passport Ultra has slightly smaller length and thickness and the case fits snugly. I doubt it would fit your model of passport.

Estas fundas son imprescindibles para los discos portatiles, estos discos aguantan mal las caidas, la funda está muy bien acolchada un disco de 5tb cabe perfecto, ademas la redecilla del otro lateral es perfecta para llevar el cable algún pendrive y alguna cosita mas que necesites, ademas en la solapa interior puedes meter unas tarjetas sd. En definitiva funda muy completa.
