Nekton-Biotic-Bird Probiotic for Birds 50g, (1.76oz)

This product was highly recommended to me by my exotic animal doctor for my special needs African Gray parrot (33 yr) since Valley Ag stopped making Bene Bac probiotic which was pulled off the market. It is made in Germany and distributed in the US. I just mix 1 scoop of odorless powder in a certain amount of water which she has no problem drinking. It can also be mixed with food if you prefer. No more measuring to give orally. Nekton is easy, safe and healthy for your bird!! Thank God there is a good replacement to keep you feather baby healthy!!! It should be stored in a dry area, out of sunlight & not refrigerated.

My little boy parakeet had been having some diarrhea for a couple of days (unusual for him) but otherwise, he seemed to be feeling fine (eating, playing, etc.) so I searched online to see if I might try something "over the counter" before scheduling a vet visit. One of the products recommended was Nekton Probiotic and since I've already been using their vitamins for my parakeets for years, I purchased this and am so happy that I did. I did not quite make up this product to full strength as per the instructions (as was afraid he might not drink the water if it was too concentrated, plus I change his water dish several times a day) so instead I just put a generous sprinkle over his water with every water change and he was better within a day and completely back to normal (no more diarrhea) within two days. From now on, I plan to always keep this product on-hand.

I use this for my African Gray who intermittently has diarrhea issues.

Hace años que doy a mis aves estas vitaminas, incluso antes de que las vendieran en España, lo que menos me gusta es el cambio de envase y parte del nombre, de bio han pasado a biótin lo que hace dudar si el producto es el mismo que quieres utilizar, pero no cambio por otras, son las únicas que veo resultados palpables.

Es muy bueno, sobre todo después de pasar una enfermedad y la toma de antibióticos. Les ayuda mucho mi agaporni se recupera mejor.

Ich verwende dieses Probiotikum regelmäßig für meine Vögel und bin sehr zufrieden. Es lässt sich einfach ins Futter mischen und wird gut angenommen. Vor allem nach Stress oder während der Aufzucht macht es einen guten Eindruck. Die Qualität ist sehr gut und ich werde es wieder kaufen.
