SUPER Wasp catcher
Well. I ordered this and the delivery time Was relatively slow. That's about the worst I can state. Since installing in my garden just 7 or so days ago the one pouch of wasp attractant has done it'sJob and then some. Not only that but it's catching horsefly and house flys and bluebottles to boot.Only about 2 weeks ago when the weather in the UK was super hot I commented on the severe lack of flying beasts, especially wasps. However that was short lived as there is an absolute explosion at the moment. This has done the job and so much so I have ordered another to place elsewhere in the garden somewhere. The instructions state to kill off the wasps in the freezer? I have just left mine hanging and a week or more later they are still being attracted to it. I'll just let them stay stuck in there for now as they seem to run out of steam and fall in the liquid.I have placed this about 8 metres or more away form the garden table/house which is doing the trick.

It works!
I bought this in spite of much sneering from my husband! I mixed the sugary liquid and hung it outside while he openly laughed. And within days, he was forced to admit it was working. There were about 200 wasps in it!So, I shall be mixing the sugary liquid and hanging it again, as soon as the sun appears and summer looks as if it might arrive! In fact, I might even buy another one!

Does the job, lures plenty of other less harmful bugs in more so that the wasps
Bought this as have an apple tree and wasps take over the garden and wanted some way of controlling this. The product works and I could not believe the the size of some of the wasps that this captured! However I felt guilty as there's a number of other creatures lured into it - more so than the wasps so decided wasn't for me and got rid.

Disappointing product - poor design
After adding the liquid bait as directed, it fills to the brim of the internal lip, which is very shallow ...only about one inch deep. This means it’s impossible to avoid liquid spillage while hanging it.Unable to separate the plastic sections to refill due to bad product design, causing decomposing insects and foul sludge contents to spill everywhere.Poor design which isn’t clear in product description when purchasing. It catches insects but not as effective lure attractant as other insect trap products we bought. Won’t buy again.

Works like a treat
I didnt use the attractant supplied and instead put in clear honey mixed with water so 10%-20 % honey to 80-90% water. works a treat. took a day or so to attract the wasps and within 5 days it was full. I have a victoria plum tree that last year I couldnt get close to due to wasps. To get the wasps out, like others I cant get the bottom off but I have discovered that first thing in a morning (and I mean like before 7:30am) then there are not many wasps buzzing about and whats in the wasp catcher are dead so I removed it from the tree, turned it upside down, filled it with water, turned it back over and then shook the dead wasps onto the compost heap. Got pretty much all of them out and then added new honey water and am now reusing the device. I dont have freezer capacity and didnt like that the idea of putting in the water (I think plastic shatters). This process works for me. Have ordered a second one
