World Flags Coloring Book: Learn All Countries of the World / Geography Gift for Kids and Adults

I bought this book for my grandson (6yrs) and he loves it! The paper is a bit thin/cheap so he can't use felt pens because the colour bleeds through the paper, but colour pencils are fine. The outlines are clear and big, and there is a bit of text about the country, so it's a good learning book.

Excellent for the price, the QR information is an added bonus. Would buy again

Colouring Book is a good size, A4 size and has a lot of information regarding each country. If you like Felt Tip Pens like me when you colour then I don’t recommend this book, the pages are really thin and the felt pens soak straight through to the other side. So Colouring Pencils would be ideal.

Having seen a handful of negative reviews complaining of errors in the book (regarding Ireland, Bosnia Herzegovina, Ukraine and Kazakhstan principally), it is important that you know this has obviously been noted and fixed in an updated edition, as these appear correctly in the book I've just received (see images). I also noted a number of reviews, mostly from US purchasers, complaining that the flags are not reproduced in colour anywhere in the book, nor is there a colour key, to guide the reader. This is a pretty absurd complaint really, as I would have thought it common knowledge that printing in colour is very much more expensive than using black only, and to expect to get a 106-page book using colour printing for less than a tenner is rather fanciful. Flags are easy enough to find online if you wish to check the colours, folks - yes, I get that not everybody on Earth has the internet or great skill at using it, but everyone who's on here leaving a review of a product they bought on Amazon by definition has at least the capacity to do this. Others complained that only some countries received a full page while other pages contained two or three, but given that the listing clearly states that it is a 106-page book containing 197 flags, perhaps those reviewers would have been better off purchasing an arithmetic book rather than a colouring one. Again, if they were expecting a bumper volume for less than ten quid, maybe the issue is with their expectations and not the product. One complaint I do sympathise with is the absence of Palestine, though I get that this is not a universally-recognised state and one has to draw the line regarding disputed territory somewhere. Maybe recent political developments regarding Palestinian recognition will be considered in any future reprints, I certainly hope so. It is also true that the paper used is not of sufficient thickness to permit the use of pens without showing through the other side, but again that's kind of obvious from the price point - so long as you appreciate from the outset that this is going to be a job for pencils or crayons, that's not any kind of problem. On the whole, for what is an independently-produced item at a very reasonable price, this is an outstanding product which my flag-mad son is going to absolutely love.

Bought as a present for my 9 year old nephew as he was interested in learning the flags. He loved it.
