I would give six stars if it were possible to do so. It ignites immediately, it does not leak, it is light weight and the hose is thick and the adapter for the cylinder is rugged and good quality. Very much worth the price, and the price wasn't honestly that bad. I use this tool exclusively when I'm melting small batches of metal for alloying or casting. If you are looking for a way to give you dexterity when using your propane/mapp gas flame, then you want this. Exactly this.

Gas bottle belt clip is handy. Works well, brazing 7/8 ACR copper without issues using Mapp gas. Torch handle fits well in hand. Easily could do larger fittings...

I've tried many other torch tips and this is far the best for my knife making/hardening hobby. What would take me 3 to 4 hours only took me a half an hour Redding up a machete.

Loved this little torch, worked great for me until I dropped it one day and all the plastic in the handle broke. Would love to see that a little stronger but for the price can’t complain

I have been using it now for a while And I am impressed it has never failed me it is very flexible I can use it in almost any environment

First use today after riding in my work truck for idk how long, worked well and dispensed gas and fire out as good as any other torch I’ve used. Another win for Amazon.

I went to remove a tank and discovered that the needle inside the regulator had broken off, indicating very poor build quality. In addition to the damaged needle, the regulator does not properly turn on or off and instead remains constantly on, creating a serious functional and safety concern. This defect makes the equipment unreliable and unusable, as it cannot be controlled or operated as intended, and it reflects a lack of proper manufacturing standards. Overall, the product failed during normal use.

This torch is affordable and works great for melting fine silver. The adjustable flame lets me use a low setting to pre‑borax my melting bowl and a high setting to refine the silver. It works perfectly with either MAP gas or a propane bottle

The brass valve that attaches to the propane tank is a good quality valve. The hose itself is 40 inches not 60 as advertised but if you add the length of the torch head you’ll get 52 inches. The valve on the torch head is also brass but the plastic knob that adjusts the flame is a bit thin and rough hand here could damage the knob, so just be careful with this. The torch puts out a lot of heat on propane and I’m sure it will be even better with mapp gas.

I got tired of trying to pluck all the weeds out between cement tiles on my patio every summer so I bought a propane torch to burn them off. The problem is once the tank goes down a little bit then the flame goes out constantly when you tip the tank a bit towards the weeds . I bought this device, it screws on to the tank nicely and allows you to keep your propane tank upright while burning the weeds. Very easy to start, that has a nice knob on it to control the intensity of the flame or to turn it off.
