Perfect device to check surface temperature.

Bought this to check internal temperature of wood fired pizza oven. Seems to work very well measuring temps of 450 - 500 degrees Celsius.

This tool is a MUST in every kitchen. It's simple to use and takes-out all the guess-work one is submitted to as to the exact heat required when frying any food, especially meat. I do not fry meat (or anything else) without checking the pan first, and the end results of what I am cooking always turns out right!
