My cat loves feathers! She has no teeth, but she has pretty fierce gums and lips to maul them with. She likes it when I drop one or two above her so she can jump up and catch them. These are exceptionally good, bright feathers - they're a good size and substantial. My cat, so far, loves all the colors equally. I'm thinking of doing a 'sky drop' of several dozen over her head for her birthday. I think my little Wild Thing will love it.

I used these on a mask that my cat had chewed the feathers off. At the time, it didn't occur to me that I needed to search for rooster tail feathers as THAT would be the true replacement of what had been chewed off. To me, a feather is a feather, aside from colors. I looked up black feathers, found these, ordered and used them and they're great as a 6-8 inch black goose feather, stiff and no beetle green sheen, absolute 100% representation as advertised. Hot gluing them to the mask is when I realized the difference. That's on me. It's unlikely anyone but me will notice the difference. But if you need a good craft goose feather, 6-8 inches in length, stiff and sturdy, deep rich black, then look no further, here is your item.

Pretty feathers though some were tiny. It worked for my project.

These feathers are good for painting and sensory table projects. Big enough to not be a choking hazard.

Good quality and a great price

Probably a third of the feathers are damaged in one way or another. More are left curved than right curved and some are straight. Only two or three are 8 inches of very nice feather. So, I'm happy to get so many that I can chose only the best ones.
