Q: Can these be used on plexiglass to make a hinged opening?

The hinges are very small. The material would have to be very thin/light and opening small. Iwould prefer a piano type hinge

hinges size...3.94 x 1.3 x 2.64 inches ( 15mm x 18mm) scews size ...7mm length

As far as I can tell, it is metal. In the description, it says the base is made of zinc. I will upload a close up of the screw and back of base so that you can see the threads. Everything has held very well for me.
