Do I have to oil and/or seal the wood in any way?

You do not need to oil or seal the wood. It will stay looking better if you do oil it once a year. It also depends on the oil you use. Some of the teak oils are actually a polymer material. They seal better but are harder to reseal later. My wood is outdoors on a patio and gets a lot of traffic. We also have parties on the patio with food and drink being spilled. We are going to use a teak cleaner and seal it for the future. Sure looks nice with no sealer however.

Are these made of real wood, or manufactured wood w teak layer? Could it set on nonsmooth decorative tiles

These tiles are made of genuine solid teak wood. Actual pieces of tree is used - not an imitation. It will go fine over "texterured" decorative floor tiles.

Do they assemble and disassemble easily? I would like to use the tiles under a yoga mat for practice at home on carpet

Yes they do assemble and disassemble easily. I actually use them under the Pottery Barn wrought iron and glass shelves that I stack my plants on for the winter inside my home. This way if I over water the plants a bit and the water spills out, it doesn't damage my hardwood floors. They will definitely help you get a harder surface for yoga if that is what you are trying to achieve.

We live in Arizona and want to know if these tiles get hot to the touch in direct sunlight?

I live in Arizona too. EVERYTHING in the sun gets hot to the touch in Arizona including ice, if you wait 30 seconds.

The teak flooring is great for outdoors and you can never go wrong with the looks. I have purchased the 10 piece tile set, the corner set and the straight set. These are easy to assemble and look wonderful. This is in front of the pool with the furniture and the look is wonderful. Customer service is fantastic. 2 of my 8 corner piece set pieces had gotten lost during delivery and they immediately sent me out 2 to replace them.
