I was really worried these wouldn't be able to hold up as well as the name brands but I can assure you there is no difference. If anything these are more rugged and actually last longer. Having a large supply of them has proven to be more economical. I was adding magic erasers to every shopping trip that I went on and I think I spent way more than I should've. These are a great size for your hand and I haven't had one crumble on me at all yet. I have had to dispose of them because they definitely seem to be more absorbant than other brands, so they get kinda gross. Still with that being said it is way less frustrating than them crumbling on you halfway through the job.The only drawback to these is the raised textured side fades away quickly with use. I can clean a few handprints off my doors and walls and start to wear off the bumps. You may get up to 3 uses with the texture still in tact, depending on what you're cleaning. Only thing needed is water, so I send my eager 8 year old all over the house with these things. My husband successfully cleaned up a wax spill the other day and only had to use one. Really nice addition to my cleaning arsenal for this crazy family of 6.

I'm painting my entire kitchen and am using these to scrub the walls and the bathroom and tub and they just won't die.I'm used to Mr. Clean Magic Erasers falling apart.THESE THINGS ARE BEEFY.I gave one to a friend who almost had a heart attack when she felt the weight and girth of these things. They literally won't die. I'm scrubbing stuff just to scrub stuff because I can.When I run out... If that's even possible... I will keep these on hand like I do Chore boys... Or maybe I'll just start washing dishes with these because they're actually less expensive.

I absolutly love these sponges. They hold up soooo much longer than the name brand and they are cheaper too. They are about twice as thick as the name brand and that comes in handy for cleaning really grimey stuff. For normal everyday cleaning I slice them in half lengthwise with a kitchen knife which makes they roughly the size of the brand name. One side is flat and the other textured for a little more cleaning power. I will never pay the outrageous grocery store price again for a name brand which in my mind is inferior to this product.

These sponges are truly fantastic.They work very well for restoring the bottom of pans or to clean up bathtubs or even to remove the scratch marks the cheap wall paint of my residence are getting as soon as anything rubs against it.One has to be aware that they are not very durable, their effect works a bit like a pencil eraser... You have to lose some material of the sponge at each use for it to be effective.Yet, I bought this whole set a while ago and I still have a good amount left so it is still a good investment to save elbow grease.

Thicker than I thought, which isn't necessarily a good thing. Personally, I'd rather twice as many thinner ones and toss them more frequently. Also, they are almost too dense, causing them to hold the dirt... they don't rinse off well at all. On the bright side, they are so thick, you can trim the dirty face off with a knife and continue to use them.

They work, but don't seem to be quite as effective as the brand name magic erasers. They don't seem as potent. Ok for light duty, but the brand name ones worked better for major cleanup jobs.

Great value! No difference when compared to the name brand! A sharp knife will slice them in half so they aren't so thick for some jobs! Best invention since Velcro and the Swiffer duster! Work great on any surface that won't scratch!!!

Out last all other magic eraser I have use great quality great price one magic eraser seems to last as loon as using three others.
