Herb Pharm Certified Organic Lavender Flower Liquid Extract for Calming Nervous System Support, 1 Fl Oz

This is a good product. Lavender extract has been shown in studies to help lower stress in the body and mind. It's quite difficult for me to get down because it is extremely bitter, so I wouldn't drink this tincture without a reasonable amount of water or some juice but the quality is excellent.

Magical! Mother-in-law has been taking variety of sleep medications over the counter and prescription, and none were as effective as this thing. I had this stress knot on my back that nothing was helping whatsoever, and this is calming it down, and slowly making it go away

This supplement is very nice. The flavor is extremely strong, as one would expect. It is quite concentrated and easy to take if you can't swallow pills or don't want the additives in a lot of pills.

I bought this as well as the Passion flower oil from herb pharm. My friend who is a naturopathic doctor recommended me to pour three squeezes of each into my water/preferred beverage- she said 4 squeezes should be the maximum amount I use though. I decided to give this product four stars because for whatever reason, it does not calm my anxiety down ALL the time. Sometimes I feel as if it made absolutely no difference, whereas other times I DEFINITELY DO feel that it’s kicking in and working. That to me right there says a lot, because I have tried TONS of natural supplements before in the past to help cope with my anxiety, and NONE of them did a single thing for me & I'm not one to fall for placebos. I’m very satisfied with Herb Pharm’s lavander & Passion flower oils- I just wish they worked ALL the time. I feel like when I don’t take it after 2-5 days they work better. However, if I’m using it everyday, I don’t feel like the results are as great. Either way, something is better than nothing- definitely recommend! Lol

I normally don’t write reviews for health related/nutritional products but I feel the need to do so. It’s been a long journey finding something that works for anxiety. I’ve been on anti-anxiety and benzodiazepines for years. My doctor finally tapered me down to a minuscule does of a benzo that I was on for a year before a new doctor tapered me off completely. I’ve been benzo free for months and not okay. My anxiety is getting better because I’m finally learning to cope through the situational anxiety, however, even when I’m not faced with those situations my anxiety arises. I’m easily startled, my heart jumps, and it’s just something I’ve learned to live with without benzos. I’m on an antidepressant that was given to help with the anxiety. Does it help? I don’t think so because I still have pretty bad anxiety. I tried every herb and natural remedy you can think of. Finally, I found a CBD tincture that contained lavender oil. For the first time ever, it soothed my anxiety just like a benzo. I was amazed because cbd never worked for me. After some homeopathic experimentation I’ve found that it was the lavender oil ( not cbd) that made me feel anxiety free. I received this tincture today and have had some of this in my system for a couple hours. I will be buying more to keep in my purse, car, home. Finally, a natural way to keep me calm and feeling normal that I’m so grateful for.
