Does this diffuser fit specifically on the Ghd Helios professional dryer?

That is incorrect. It does NOT fit the Helios without a ring adapter. This does not come with that adapter and therefore, does not work. I cannot find where to buy this ring anywhere, which makes this diffuser useless.

I have a ghd air and this diffuser doesn't fit. it's the exact same width as the end of the barrel. am i missing something?

I had to return this. I had the same thing happen to me. It's not you, it is the supplier. I had a GHD hair dryer, and bought this and it still did not fit. I had to buy a generic attachment and that did not fit GHD either! Had to return my GHD hair dryer and buy another brand. Why does GHD's attachments do not fit their own products? It's a mystery. Great question!!
