Wow! This fuse holder is a beast! Wire quality is tops... all copper wire (AWM - Appliance Wiring Material rated at 150 degrees C with a tough PVC jacket). The fuse holder spade receptacles are heavy duty and grip the fuse spades very firmly which means a good electrical contact that won't vibrate loose. The main body also has a 1/4" hole right through the center for mounting either with a screw, machine bolt, or strap tie! The cover is thick and makes good water resistant seal. This is going in my Ram 3500 dually to feed an extra fuse block coming off of one of the batteries to fuse accessories like backup lights. It's not like the old days since today's vehicles have ECM and PCMs most of which are 5v! You don't ever want to tie into any existing vehicle wiring on today's cars with the manufacturers utilizing all the current carrying capacity of each wire! This fuse holder far exceeded my expectations and can recommend this whole heartily (I have been an electrician for many years!). This is great for feeding a fuse block like the Blue Seas or Hellas (both can be found here at Amazon!) directly off of a battery. You need to be able to protect that main feed between the battery and the fuse block and this one does it with style! This fuse holder with 6ga wire will handle up to 100 Amps @ 12v -- with up to 20 feet of wire.

Nothing to dislike. Just be prepared for the size of this MAXI fuse holder! Leads are fairly pliable, and built of nice fine stranded copper. Excellent build quality, product as described, not a knock-off. Cap seems to be nicely weather proof. Mounting hole for a screw or bolt pass through is a nice touch.

Wow! This thing is huge! The provided dimensions didn't register with me but I'm happy. I purchased two for a Ham radio. I ran quality 6ga wire into my cab, connected to a good fuse panel, and needed quality fuse holders to connect to the battery. I was looking for something better than the items found at the auto parts stores and I found it. I can run my rig with confidence and have the capacity to upgrade/add components later without having to go back and upgrade the wiring or fuse holders. I purchased marine grade connectors for the battery terminal connections and to join the wire running to the cab. If you're looking for a beefy fuse holder, you've found it. At $8 bucks you can't beat the price and it's a name brand. Fuses are spendy but should not pose a problem, if properly wired. Will buy again when I upgrade the other truck.
