Been using this for 6 months and I love it! Power usage is low, plenty of light space and can change the height so as to not burn leaves. Had to actually kill off my Jalapeño plants as they just kept fruiting under this light! Pic of 2 drooping prickly pear cuttings and the difference in growth speaks for itself. A couple of electrodes have went but I didn't notice until I took the picture today, doesn't affect use. This is after daily use at 8 hrs/day. Also gives off a nice sunlight style light, not red or blue like other lights so perfect to appreciate my plants under. I want more!

Used to do a lot of gardening but moved to an upper floor flat, this product was perfect to allow me to grow tomatoes and carry on with my little hobby. Not too hungry on power and the plants seem to love it. Highly recommended for a small area.

Really good quality as expected from the brand. But the design feels like it wasn't given any thought. A few niggles from my perspective... The shroud for the lights is white, nice design and with a bold orange "spiderfarmer" logo on both sides, ok. But the power supply is a generic brand BLACK unit that looks adequate for functionality, but stands out like a sore thumb. I would of preferred it in white. On the power supply, there is no power switch or dimmer; I can live without a dimmer on a 100W light, but to have no power switch make turning it on/off cumbersome, meaning you have to invest in a more easy to reach power socket, or a separate switch / extension. All in all, the functionality of the light is outstanding, and I would still recommend. However for the pricetag, I would expect a fully refined design. (Reason for star removed, value, the equivalent meanwell dimmable driver is priced at £55 on Amazon, the LEDs and the coated steel shroud would equate it to being good value at £100. But this does not have the function of the driver I mentioned, it is a simple PCB with no controller or electrical protection in a coated steel reflector/shroud, married with a third-party powerbrick that has no switch and is the completely opposite colour to the product itself.)

I bought this product to propagate seedlings such as chilli plants, peppers and tomatoes to name but a few. Many of the hotter chilli plants require over 120 days to bear fruit, so starting them early increases the harvest time and therefore yield. With the season being relatively short in the UK, then the only real way to start early is with artificial lighting as there is just not enough hours of natural light early in the year. The light is surprisingly bright and covers my 4’ x 2’ propagator, and the height can be adjusted to keep the optimum distance from the plant canopy. This adjustment of the light is made easier by its low weight and adjustment mechanism. I am only using this light for vegetative growth and not flowering, I suspect the flowering area will be smaller and might not be sufficient for plants that need a significant amount of light when in flower. Initially I thought the light was defective as two of the red LEDs were not lit. I contacted SpiderFarmer and they were extremely helpful and were prompt with their replies. As it turns out, two of the LEDs on the light are IR (infrared), and are extremely dim when compared to the others. By wearing sunglasses I was able to see they were in fact lit and therefore the light was not defective. I also love the fanless design of this product, making it quiet which is great if you have this in an area where that is important. My plants seem to be in great shape and are not going leggy which can be a problem when there is insufficient light. Tomatoes are particularly bad for this but so far they are remaining nice and compact.

Produced leggy sickly plants, waste of money.

So I brought this to test it out, Unfortunately it isn't the brightest there isn't a dimmer on it and there's no on/off switch but then alot don't ( They just have a dimmer ) I tested it on a lux meter and I was pretty surprised with how low/close you need it to give off 50 - 60,000 lux as that's what you need in bloom. But if you adjust the distance and you have a meter then I guess it's fine.... it is a 600 and I'm used to 1000, But yeah it's ok. 2star off for no dimmer/on/off

Fantastic lights! I wanted to review these since I don't grow Marijuana - only vegetables and flowers. These worked fantastic for my tomatoes, tomatillos, peppers (hot and sweet) and everything else. I ended up with 5 of them for all my starts and the lights really worked well. They fit great on the black and silver racks from home depot/menards/lowes/etc. and give terrific light. I even (later in the starting season) had plants on the floor around the racks and they got enough light to keep going. When compared to T5 lights (garage lights), these were much better, the plants happier (more dark green leaves) and growth much faster. The shipping was quick, and the packaging good enough that I am storing the lights in the original boxes. 10/10. There are others that have wifi control, more adjustments etc, but for pure functionality - highly recommend these. You may want to partner them with a power strip with a timer, or a power strip so its a quick on/off (I strapped one to a leg of one of the racks), but overall - great.

This grow light exceed my expectation! It is true that plants tend to grow faster under this light as I compare the result with the grow lights I used last two years. Light is bright and evenly distributed. I have been using this every day since March this year. The light saves me so much money by growing vegs and flowers from seed instead of buying seedlings from nursery, not to mention I get to grow plants from seeds that are usually not sold by local nurseries. This is a great investment. I will add another one for next growing season.

Our indoor plants were drying, as soon as we installed this we saw them flourishing again. Easy to install and it looks good in our living room.

Light is ok if you want to drop light on top of your seedling or clone it really doesn’t have power to excel growth maybe if I had two in my tent it would be better then one
