seemingly solid enough to do the job, not sharp enough to do damage to user but sharp enough angled to do what an arrow should which is bury itself in target whilst keeping intact.

Very good. They fit all standard arrows. The tips are very sharp and the edges whilst not super sharp can be honed further. On one occasion I miss-shot and the arrow went into a brick wall, the broadhead stuck into the brick and came out undamaged, except for some scuffing to the black finish.
