My dogs refuse to let me put this in their mouths. Anyone have any luck mixing rinse with dogs daily water?

My Cane Corso just had a canine tooth pulled and has an abscess up into his sinuses. He is 9 years old. Anyone who knows Cane’s knows you can’t just pry open their mouths and we have to squirt this stuff to the surgical site after every meal. It takes 2 of us. After the first few times he is getting better at it and I believe it is helping healing. Thank goodness. So guess who just bought a finger toothbrush for my 5 yr old Cane Corso? Yep, I never want this to happen to him. I am also giving him a squirt after meals. They cleaned my boys teeth while they had him sedated and they look beautiful I sent off the bad tissue for biopsy just to make sure it wasn’t anything more serious than dental plaque. My boys are always chewing on bones, sticks , and dental treats. Their teeth didn’t look that bad. Lesson learned!!
