Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment Face Serum

LOVE my Good Genes. It makes my skin feel so soft, and i can use it as my moisturizer too.

I wish I could afford to bathe in Good Genes! The formula is pretty basic (lactic acid, licorice), but this non-irritating lotion literally restored glowing radiance to my very dry, dull, probably perimenopausal skin IMMEDIATELY. You get that immediate gratification, and with continued use, a more even toned appearance with less prominent fine lines and wrinkles… If you’re over 40 and haven’t been introduced to the magic of lactic acid (and don’t want to bother with peels) you should really try this one. Easy to apply, no-rinse, daily lotion can easily fit into any routine (no matter how lazy or intricate). I just wish the regular price was a little more reasonable. I guess wait for a sale, and then stock up! I hate that I love it so much…

I don't generally consider myself to be a superstitious person, and yet I have bought this (let's be honest:) absurdly expensive exfoliating serum more than a dozen times over the past several years. There's just something about it that makes me feel—nay believe—that a big part of my having much clearer, better-textured skin than I did ten years ago is at least to some extent attributable to this serum. First of all, this just feels very, very good to use. The product is neither heavy/greasy, nor is it overly thin or watery - you can almost feel it sinking into your skin as you apply it. Unlike many chemical exfoliants (glycolic acids have generally been my go-tos), I've never experienced any stinging or even temporary redness after applying this—even in mid-winter, when my face is otherwise dull, flaky, and mercurial. Instead, from time to time I'll feel a not at all unpleasant gentle tingling that ebbs away in seconds. Finally, it has an almost imperceptible pleasant, wholly natural-seeming scent. All in all, as a chronic skincare overspender, I very much believe that this product, moreso than any other I've tried in my endless quest to find the holy grail of facial maintenance, has been *extremely* thoughtfully formulated. For me, the only downside is how almost insultingly expensive this product is; however, it is a beauty serum, not a bottle of ketchup, so hate the game, not the player. Plus, if you use a single pump each day (which is absolutely adequate), a bottle will last long enough to give you time to get over your consternation over how much it cost. Of course, then there's the fresh dismay over how much you'll have to shell out for another bottle...

We use this every night. And I have very brittle nails; however, they are so strong now. The only change that could cause this benefit is when I put the cream on. They grow so fast and so strong. It takes a month to see a difference on your face. Don’t let the price scare you away, because after that initial month, we have noticed a big difference in our skin. My hubby is 59 and I am 52 and BTW, he works outside all day and is a smoker.

After using for 2 months, my skin is super soft and smooth. I don’t normally have the best skin texture but this improves it immensely. Nice and hydrating after toner and before moisturizer.

Expensive, but so addictive. Pop one pump on after cleansing, before bed and leave on overnight. Since starting this a couple of months ago, my skin has noticeably improved in texture, evenness of skin tone, reduction in age spots and fine lines, and my skin is also firmer. Make sure you buy the lactic acid and not the glycolic acid. This is a stand out/cult product for a reason. Hard to find in the Uk, so I was amazed when Amazon sticker it. Get the smaller version if you’re trying for the first time, but I’m my option, it’s worth every penny.
