I love this product. I use the dark brown in my part/"upper regions" of my hair and the light brown in the bare areas above my temples so that the transition from my skin, which is very fair, to my hair is not so harsh. My hair is actually medium brown, but I found the medium brown to be a little too warm on me. I think a cooler color, even if it's a little bit darker than my natural hair produces a much more natural look. Besides, roots should be a little bit darker than the rest of your hair. I have medium to even light blond highlights throughout my hair (especially) towards the end, and the dark brown still works beautifully. Not only does this cover my scalp, thereby making my hair look fuller, it actually gives a little "grip" and texture if you bring it slightly into the roots of your hair. I actually apply it with a small cotton ball so that I know I am always using a clean manner of applying the product. This stuff is fantastic, really well-priced, and the seller sent me a few emails with application tips. This product can be used wet or dry, but dry works for me.

This product works good and hides all the thinning, except it leaves your hands really black.It is not as water resistant as advertised. I was outside and it started to rain, the product started to run on my clothes and face. Not happy about that but I still use it as it does cover the scalp nicely.

This is a great product. Coverage is perfect. Don’t even need to dab the applicator in water.

Delivery was very slow, powder doesn’t cover well and applicators fell apart immediately. I wouldn’t recommend this product or the company.

I really like this product. I'm a redhead with long hair. The light brown, blends so nicely. And no one seems to notice that I use it.I started some years ago using DermMatch, & I thought it was great! But, after trying Thicken It, I was sold on the product.It's about 3 times cheaper, & goes on so much easier. It may be a lighter texture, but it certainly covers the areas well.I use it mainly in my bang area, & temples. When wearing a ponytail, I put some by the ear area as well.I hope this helps. I have noticeable thinning hair on top & have tried Many products. This is my 2nd time ordering Thicken It. Had been using derma-blend (sp?) for several years and decided to try this. Love it! Great coverage and stays on well. Doesn't transfer to pillows at night. I prefer to apply when dry. Tried the wet application and didn't think it was as good, plus messier. I have dark brown hair. 1st I tried the dark brown shade. This time I ordered black and like that coverage much better, so go darker. Highly recommend!

One of the applicators was used yet it was sent to me as new. I threw that one away and at least I still have two others. I do not like the color. I thought I would receive a light brown. Instead, the color is more of a red. I wasn't happy with this product and would not recommend it. I should have returned it. Useless product and a waste of money. There are better products that I have personally tried. That is my experience with this product.
