I ned a ladder that is art least 11 feet, which one should I get?

one that is more than the 10'---home depot may have one

I have 22" wide, so mine is not as 'standard' as I thought. Neither would work then for me.

21.5 is designed for the 22 wide, my opening was 26 and the 25.5 worked perfect

I have an attic ladder I want replaced that the outside frame measures 24 3/4" x 53 1/8". Would this ladder be the right size with shims?

Yes, if I were you I would run 1x4 down both sides. 1x4 are usually 3/4 thick anyway.
